Survey any Mach-E owner here and ask how many would purchase a second one, or survey any Tesla group and ask the same question, I'd estimate more than 90%, if not more, would answer with a yes. Most BEV owners seem to eventually gravitate towards another BEV because they are so happy with the product. 10 months ago I asked my wife if she was ever interested in getting her own BEV and she said no. After driving mine over this past winter while I was working from home, she decided she wanted one so now we're both fully electric.

I'll probably see the same thing happen here. After a year or so, the significant other may want to make the switch from gas to electric once they get spoiled with the benefits of an electric car and get over the range anxiety.

I miss my Malasadas. Lived on Oahu then Maui more than a dozen years. Best years ever.

Hawaii island malasadas are nowhere near as good as Leonard’s Malasadas. People here really haven’t had a real malasada unless they’ve had Leonard’s.

I am well aware of that, I receive CR every month.

It's just that you don't see the CEO of Ford declaring that his vehicles are perfect.

The Technoking does say that.

BTW, the people that say that Consumer Reports rates vehicles by the advertising income obviously have never read a Consumer Reports magazine. They actually purchase the vehicles they test from a dealer, incognito.

I could be wrong but I believe it does have a programmable password to start the car. I remember setting one up along with changing the keypad code. From what I remember its description sounded like it was a backup password to start and use the car

Tesla has "PIN-to-start" and "Glovebox PIN" settings.

The glovebox PIN is useful because the electrically latched glovebox contains the USB storage for the dashcam and 'sentry mode' security cameras.

Telsa took a few years of changes to evolve the most useful way to do PaaK, and it's now very reliable and convenient.

the thing that tesla has going for it is the fact that they actually update their cars. I am optimistic but fully expect ford to hold back features for new model years.

Typical CR. They tend to rate anything produced by a Manufacturer originally founded in the US pretty low.

I've said before, when I was a kid, CR diss'ed Porsche 911 because the trunk was too small. As far as the Tesla update, friends who have kids say the entertainment is a godsend. Especially since you can actually plug in a controller and game-away. If I'm bored in the car I surf internet.

It doesn't seem like that is a false statement, the Porsche 911 does have a small trunk. Every reviewer has things they believe are important and, part of the key to understanding reviews, is to understand the priorities of the reviewer.

CR is pretty upfront about how they review and score cars, hence why they mark down the Porsche for a small trunk -- but they list it with other sports cars that tend to also be scored down for the small trunk. I find CR is pretty good in reviewing, though the trick is to compare what they find important and "recalculate" their score based on what I find important for the car I'm buying, as their observations are valid even if I weight those observations differently.

I would say that I have had to sit in the car for 2 1 hour charge sessions so far. Some big-screen entertainment would have been very welcome. I hope they do add something in the very near future. However, I am not holding my breath for any major updates.
In all honesty, I would actually pay for major feature updates..... Just as to get them.

Apparently “Brand T” has a fart mode. The MME does not as of this time. Hopefully we will never have it.
