If it has a full charge on it when we pick it up should be able to make it there and back. Depending on which beach we go to it would be less than 200 miles round trip.

The infrared eye monitor panel was installed a bit crooked on the steering column. (See photo) It was especially noticeable with the straight line of the dash behind it. Has anyone else noticed this on their car?
Mine is crooked like this as well. I've actually discovered it about 5 different times. Each time I had completely forgotten about it. I seem to notice it and then completely forget about it about 5 minutes later. ?

My dealer has a car but said it can only be used as a loaner for people having their cars serviced. I have yet to be able to drive one even though I ordered one back in Feb.

That's too bad that they're restricting it to a service loaner vehicle. Hopefully they'll get another soon for you to test drive.

I'm pretty sure that's Ford's intended use of the vehicle. Dealers doing what yours is are coloring outside the lines.

I finally got to test drive a Mach-e yesterday. My dealer let me keep it for 2 hours. I did a mix of city and highway driving. I tried all the various modes. I liked the feel of Unbridled the most. The car felt the most responsive in that mode as expected. The ride overall was pretty good. It is certainly different than my Mazda CX-5. I was pleased with how the pano roof handled the Texas sun. Although it's not really hot yet, it was a bright sunny day here in Fort Worth. There was no noticeable heat transfer from the roof to the interior of the car. The roof tint is really dark. That was one of my main concerns and I feel much better about it now. The fit and finish was great overall. There was only one thing that seemed odd regarding fit. The infrared eye monitor panel was installed a bit crooked on the steering column. (See photo) It was especially noticeable with the straight line of the dash behind it. Has anyone else noticed this on their car? I looked at another Mach-e the dealer had and it seemed much straighter. After losing the Infinite Blue color, I was torn about keeping the order or getting a refund. I have decided to move forward with Dark Matter Gray. The dealer said I MIGHT have it before Christmas. Ugh.

The infrared monitor panel is not crooked, the dash behind it is curved, so they are not parallel.

I've seen two others that are completely straight. This one leans down toward the left. The photo maybe doesn't show it.

My dealer let us take the demo out for whatever time we needed.

When my actual model came in the dealer was not set up for ford options so they let me 'rent' the vehicle until they were ready, which was 4 days later.

The loaner MME that I have at the moment had a crooked IR panel as well. Since it isn't mine, I didn't mine man-handling it to see if I could straighten it out. It's actually pretty easy to do. The panel is attached to the top half of the plastic shroud that goes around the steering wheel. If you just grab the top half and try to rotate it, it will unclip from the bottom half, which is not what you want to do. But if you grab the top and bottom halfs together, and rotate the whole thing, it has enough play in it to straighten it out.

Thanks for posting this. I'll try it on mine if necessary when it is delivered.
