Yeah, not a surprise. It's kinda funny that they forgot to tell the BCM to ignore the fact that Job 1 cars don't have a functional frunk button.
I still can't really understand why it is so difficult to get them a frunk button and then just get everyone to 3.3.1 so we are all FINALLY on the same page (until Job 2 2022s start rolling out with pet mode LOL).

Good. If a lot of people are affected, Ford is probably more likely to get a new version out ASAP. Of course, they could just enable the Frunk button instead of having to remove the fault message that alerts us that it's not working.

They're just building suspense. The update plan is:

1. Frunk error
2. Inoperable frunk button
3. Frunk button does partial release followed by manual single pull
4. Frunk button fully functional just so you can realize you are still just going to use the manual release 99% of the time just like Job 2 owners

You forgot when they retract 3 builds, release 4 more and "fix" whatever they didn't tell us about and then forget that there were 3 weeks worth of hybrid job 1.5 cars that they'll likely never fully support. (I'm not mad at all about the 2nd key fob thing, can you tell?)

Does anyone know how long it takes for the recall message on FordPass to disappear after updating the software with FDRS? It’s been 6 days for me and it’s still there.

There has been no evidence that it ever will. I‘m going on about 8 weeks.
My guess is at some point you’ll have to go to a dealer and ask them to update whatever it is they update so that it goes away.

I don’t think most dealers would be willing to clear the recall flag if they didn’t do the update. My hope is that the OTA system will eventually clear the flag when it compares installed versions, but nobody has reported that happening yet.

It cleared on my car after a few weeks, you are correct that the dealer is unwilling to clear the message for you. They gave me a lot of blahblahblah

You installed the recall update with FDRS and it disappeared from FordPass and ETIS?
