After 5 1/2 hours, all that I have left is the CMR, IPMA, and PSCM modules to update. Am I looking at another 4 hours for these last modules?

The RFA installed without issue for me, but I did have some random APIM and SOBDMC errors that wouldn't clear until I started other module updates. No amount of restarting laptop, turning off and on car would clear the error. ?‍♂

Otherwise, this was easier than I thought with everyone's knowledge here and for that I am grateful!

Probably at least 3 hours id say.

It is assumed to be 1.4 because the IPMA software is different from what vehicles with 1.3 have on them. It is also different from the strategy in the BC 1.3 update that was reported a little while ago here. It may or may not be 1.4, but it certainly is not the same as 1.3.
Start checking out the cars that are getting 1.3 today. It be a higher version than "1.4" was.

I checked one right away as soon as the thread was posted and pointed that out earlier. I also checked that same car in FDRS, and it is not showing an IPMA update pending in FDRS now after it got this new OTA.

Yeah it's not available in FDRS to anyone.

You'd need to compare the OTA files.

I personally don't think anyone could possibly tell if they are running 1.3 or 1.4 from the actual experience of driving the car in Bluecruise mode.

Or put another way, if I had previously been on BC 1.0 and had been patiently waiting all this time to get 1.4, and then thought that I was enjoying 1.4 as I personally experienced the vastly superior performance of Bluecruise, I don't think I would be upset to find out I was actually experiencing 1.3 ?

Having said that mouthful, just what has Ford proclaimed is the differentiation between 1.3/1.4

I've never come across it

I can say the formerly considered 1.4 is much better than the stock 1.3 that came on 23.5+.

So if they want to call it all 1.3? Doesn’t really matter much to me.

I did that already. The IPMA software people started getting yesterday is different from the one that was sent out with 7.0.0 and was in FDRS for 7-8 months which was the -ACJ version. I'm not interested in getting into a pissing match about 1.3 and 1.4 and what is what and what exists and what does not; particularly when such a small fraction of people have the software. Call it 1.3/4, call it 1.x, call it 1.?.....call it whatever. I'm here to help; not to bicker.

@rugedraw
I think you KNOW how much I appreciate your tenacious generosity. Both on the Gen14 F150 and now my fabulous GTPE. :)

I just finished yet another 2000 mile I-10 jaunt from Galveston to Jacksonville Florida. 1800 miles of it was brilliantly performing Bluecruise 1.3/1.4 ?

I took the Powerboost instead of the GTPE because I make the drive in 1 day with one fuel stop. (~14 hours)
I'm 100% sure that the GTPE is doable for that trip, but no way could I make it in 1 day.

Anyways, thank you for all your help in transforming that truck into the ultimate interstate land yacht!

Same here. @rugedraw is one of the people that makes this forum great. I wouldn't have BC 1.3-5/8 if it wasn't for his assistance.

Edit: just to be clear total sincere praise, just joking about the BC version!

And I'm looking forward to a 950 mile trip this week that will be much more enjoyable.

I'm a pretty old school geezer and when I purchased my first Bluecruise equipped vehicle I considered it a "novelty" because 1.0 would never earn enough trust for me to drive handsfree.
I first got the upgrade to 1.4 on the truck back in January, or maybe February?
I was stunned at how stable it was compared. And although it took a few hundred miles to convince me it was really that good, I now have thousands of handsfree miles behind me.
It doesn't result in me paying any less attention at all. Quite the opposite. I am tuned in but so relaxed. It allows for much longer runs and with less driver's fatigue.

Note, I am describing interstate sustained pace driving. I don't know if it would apply to daily metro Bluecruising. That's a very different animal. :)

I finished my IPMA and PSCM updates around noon today and was fully up to date at the time I finished. If I'm reading the module detail correctly, I'm on the ACJ version.

When I checked FDRS this around 10pm, 4 new updates popped up - IPMA, PSCM, DSM, and ACM. Do you think these are the new updates that were coming out via OTA but not yet available on FDRS when you last checked?
