coast to the Auto road, to the top and back.

21P22 was applied when our '21 Select RWD went in for the windshield recall.

It was very cloudy at the top.

Started the 7.6 mile climb at 62% and was at 45% at the summit. Distance climbed 6200ft from the start of the trip to the summit.

At the bottom of the mountain we had 55% battery. 1PD, Put her in D and mashed the L button for the trip down and she performed flawlessly. No horror stories here.

Most of the good photos are on my wife's phone. She took many more.

That is awesome, and something I would be terrified to "stop safely now" while doing. Glad you guys had fun!

I thought they used to have a no hybrid/electric rule. Glad to see they let you up!

Oh that is interesting! I had asked the NE local forum about doing the climb while I was waiting for mine to show up. Someone with an early build had the “stop safely now” problem and had to be towed.

Part of the reason I posted was that thread. I was a bit stressed out the night before as there were 5 people in the car and the bricking issue was still a concern even though I have the patch.

One Pedal worked great. A bit odd having to push in the acceleration pedal to roll down a mountain. Stopped half way down and the brakes were not even hot.

I've only ever been to the top of Washington by foot (NH native). When I was younger I was always annoyed by the auto road but this post struck me as very cool. Something much less offensive about a zero emissions car making the climb 😁. Glad you had such a great experience.

That's awesome! Bummer the weather at the summit wasn't better as it has some very nice views. I love the auto road, such a beautiful drive up and down.

No, but I'll bet your battery was!
Nope, cooling louvers we're still shut on the way down when I stopped to check the brake heat.

Nice! I'm down in MA and have been wanting to head up to the Whites for some hiking. Where did you end up charging for your trip?

We were staying with family in Kennebunkport. The local power company and chamber of commerce both have a free level 2.

We stopped at Moat Mountain for lunch after and used their Tesla destination..Great Oatmeal Porter.

What are the add-ons you have applied to the tops of the window frames?
