Headquarters for InvisiHitch.com is about 8 miles away. I brought my F-Pace to them to add a receiver. It was their first F-Pace. I plan to do the same for my 1st Edition if it does not have a receiver option when I order. I will update and follow towing posts.

The InvisiHitch system is the one I want, so I was hoping an early adopter would be near them so they could make one. I’ll be eagerly awaiting your results.

They do prefer European autos so dropping them an email or call to show interest might help motivate them.

Just received a email reply from my local dealer:

I just received an answer from Ford Netherlands. The towbar for the Mustang Mach-E will be available as an accessory and will therefore be able to be fitted locally at the dealer.

Note, however, that the ball pressure is only 30kg, so that will soon be insufficient to be able to transport bicycles with it.

So you can tow 750kg but no bikes...

That has to be a typo or misunderstanding. Nobody would make a hitch that only held 30kgs.

Well the ball pressure is usally between 40 and 75 kg so its not that unlikely....

In the US, the tongue weight limit is usually 10% of the towing capacity, so 75kg would make more sense.

Ford, please put me on the list of wanting a hitch. I need to be able to tow my Seadoo and my racing Kart. Without a hitch option, I have to buy something else.

A: Absolutely - just like in other Ford products. Your Ford dealer will be able to help you with any add-ons to help personalize your Mach-E

I read somewhere that the roof isn't load bearing. Hopefully they have a bike/ski solution

That was a Norwegian law thing. I expect Thule and Yakima to have fittings for it pretty quickly.

And last night’s Q&A said that the Mach-E will not be rated to tow. I find that hard to believe.

I find it really annoying that the EU/UK version will be rated to tow but the NA version won't. It's made my wife question if it's really the right BEV for us.
