Still barely 1000 miles in to the MME experience.

For the "Trips" portion of the interface, I'm using --for now-- "Trip 2" as a monthly review of energy/driving and "Trip 1" as a "between charges" review.

Obviously. "This trip" resets with each start-up.

The "Where did my energy" go portion is very consistent between the three trips, especially when being tracked over longer distances (separate question: am I the only one driven crazy by the fact that the bar graph doesn't display the categories in ascending --or descending...I'm not picky) order?

But the "How is my driving" graphs? I just don't get them. I can watch the values change if I accelerate/decelerate rapidly --or moderate my inputs" in "This trip". But what's up with the nearly firewalled values for Trips 1 and 2?

Image attached.

Anybody figured this out?

Like you said, those values are averaged over a longer period. That’s all.

For the this trip you posted, you must have idled for a little longer than the actual drive. You didn’t use much power to drive the car, mostly used power to heat the cabin.

Ford can't do maths! The bars in trip 1 and 2 are a complete waste of time. If you zero a trip and drive to work it will obviously read the same as This Trip. If you do the same journey in reverse the bars will read about 50% so not a proper average of the two trips and absolutely no use to man or beast. The bars soon end up around zero indicating that either your driving style is completely rubbish or that Ford can't do maths.

Yeah, I get the big upper bar graphs on the energy use.

I don't get the differences in the lower "how's my driving" graphs.

.

LoL. I've gone 20+ years without crashing a car...so I'll accept the "FoMoCo bad a maths" explanation.

I mean: The energy use bars would be perfect if they were size-ranked in the display.
But the overall "hows my driving" story doesn't make any sense...to me, anyway.

I just got a MME Premium AWD ER. I think the "How's my Driving" is a summary of the "Driving" in the bar graph. But I'm not sure.

What I can't figure out are:
1. Is "Deceleration" regenerating (one pedal driving)?
2. What is "Exterior Temperature"? The manual says it is "This includes energy losses due to outside temperature and other conditions which reduce vehicle system efficiency". What is that? Wind resistance? Outside temperature? Shouldn't temperature be included in Climate or Driving?
