Meant to post this a while ago. When using Waze in Android Auto, I no longer get the turn by turn in the instrument display. All I see is the "0 km" in the photo (my car is set to miles; checked that twice). I've gone through all the settings and can't find a fix. Any suggestions are welcome (snarky ones too ? - this is the Mach-E Forums after all).

I don’t think I ever get waze directions in that screen, Apple car play Nav, yes I do

I have gotten the 0 km. I just pick a destination set it and then delete it and the 0 km goes away

IIRC there is a bug with Waze, it works fine in Apple/Google maps.
Okay, maybe I'll try reinstalling Waze on my phone at least. I can also try using Maps instead of Waze. Thanks @Mach-Lee.

It's Waze, I have same issue now too. That app has become so disappointing after their Android Auto UI refresh. In addition to all of the bugs introduced, the new button layout makes no sense.

If Google would add proper in-app reporting on Android Auto I would drop Waze immediately. I know they are both in the alphabet soup company so maybe someday it will happen...

Thanks @OON7. So I guess it's not an isolated incident. Hopefully, another UI update is on the way to fix what the last one broke.

This is not a huge complaint on my part. It's just that it worked in the past and now does not. I was curious if anyone else had noticed this issue. Now I know ?.

I got the 0km with Apple Maps. Went away with Ford Maps. It had never happened before my most recent OTA.

I just submitted a support ticket to Waze along with the photo above. Guess we'll see if it gets through the digital soup and reaches the right person. Not holding my breath.

I think it's an Android issue as I tested Waze, TomTom, Sygic and Amigo and I always see "0 Km" on display even if the indication is correct in Android Auto. It works only with Ford navigation.

I toggled between Maps and Waze and it worked in Waze for a hot minute then went back to 0 km.

Waze sent me a way to log the issue but I have not done it yet:

Feel free to give it a try yourself.

Thanks for posting! I use Waze all the time, and it always appeared on the cluster screen. This started just a few days ago. I know it worked on August 3. I can't recall the other days. I'm following and also troubleshooting on my side. ?

Interesting that Apple Maps did not work. It is not working for me on Waze. It did work with Ford's Nav app. I am going to try Google Maps later to see if it displays the directions. Thanks for sharing.
