Off topic distraction and my photoshop skills are awful, but what do you reckon? I'm going for maximum confusion. It's a Mustang, but it's electric. It's American, but has a British flag on it.... Using the infinite blue for the blue parts of the flag, and obviously the vinyl would need to be gloss and muted to match the paint tone.

I think potentially we could be looking at mid June Dave, Jon and anyone else in the Flushing.

Confirmed by my dealer, mid June is the earliest anyone will have there MME , so 2 weeks later than expected for me which isn't bad ?

I would love to know how he can be so sure that NOONE will receive their cars before mid June. He must be the only one in the country. Has he got an 'in' with Ford's shipping department?

It looks like the Grande New Jersey to Veracruz is slightly behind, looking at the ports she has been too. So 19th could be correct ?

It was more that I was told it was leaving on the 19th but not due into Antwerp until the 22nd of June, where the New Jersey gets in on the 10th.

Cynically, It looks like my car has either fallen off the boat or is still on the boat in bay2 of the doc. So either the same boat is carrying on to the UK or she's not even been unloaded as yet. 10 hours ago she was at 51.460908, 3.682552 and now not contactable. So might be in am metal box at sea... or maybe waiting for another unload, queue and reload. It might still take some time!

The metal box thing is relevant due to GPS signal as well as data of course.

The best news would be if she wakes up in Dagenham but based on the journey so far I would not hold your breath. Might be lucky!

Heads up re Octopus re GO. I have contacted them re incorrect billing.

"I noticed last week that despite setting off my timed electric items such has hot tub and dishwasher at 12.30am, I was seeing a high usage in the previous 30minute billing period where there is hardly any electrical items other than a TV in use"

Their response was it's due to the clocks going to BST!

Thats concerning...... I'm heading to same tariff. Although these smart meters seem rubbish, on the second visit they managed to "commission" the Electric, Gas apparently needs a different (dual band) meter that will be released end of year....... Hopefully I can get Octopus to see the electric meter soon and get onto Go

My whole "Man Maths" for this car was based on Octopus Go; I really hope it will actually work else the numbers do not stack up. If you start googling Smart Meters and failures etc it gets very concerning. The government seem to have massively over complicated it; this is worth a read:

The billing does not give any way of checking you are getting the 5p rate in the correct hours.

You just get to total for the whole use for the last 30 days. And a seperate total for kwh hours at the normal rate.

You can online see where it is charging by kwh per half hour period. That's where I see the issue.

I currently own a Nissan Leaf and I've been on Octopus Go since March. I live in a fairly isolated village and while I was on interim Tariff for about 4 weeks on joining Octopus (which is longer than they quote), I am now delighted with the service. It has been faultless.

I intend if they ever switch me to utilize the API Octopus expose to log charging vs KWH in real time and graph it.

https://octopus.com/docs/octopus-rest-api

Into my home automation system:

https://community.openhab.org/t/octopus-agile-pricing-binding/105729/16

We can do all our usual weekly driving excluding Family trips etc at 5p KWH if this all works out.

I have been on octopus go for about 9 months - you can see how much you have used on the various tariffs and mine is in keeping with my usage at those times eg during the 5 p tariff my cost go down by almost 2/3 - though I will be keeping a closer eye on it when the car arrives as will be using more of the night tariff. They seem like a very forward thinking company as they even have an export tariff for solar, as the fit disappeared for new installations. So when my car isn't hooked up in the day getting free charge, I am making on the export tariff . They fitted my smart meter within days and I have never had a single problem

I know this is a long shot because mine hasn't changed, but given the fact that a few of us are 99.99% sure that our cars are on their way and are in Vlissingen as we speak, has anyone noticed whether their progress meter on their Ford account has changed. My 'on its way' button is still blue. The 2 before it are green
Mine still showing exactly the same as yours. It took a good while to change last time, even though my car was already in Antwerp.
Most probably change again after we already received them. I can put up with that.
