Just mailed my Ford contact about the car and when it might arrive his reply is below:

As for the car, delivery is looking like roughly late May

In fairness, if we look at 5 weeks rather than 10, that would probably include a week to 10 days from getting into the UK to distributing, final checks, arranging collection and cleaning the cars ready for us. 5 weeks is OK...10 weeks however is just frustrating.

Yes, this is happening to most of us.
Have seen this in this thread, the French one and Norwegian one.

I personally have the same on my tracker.

Another reason I am the most anti Brexit person on the planet.
you and me both... I just moved a business shipment from China to Moldova in three days but I can't move shipments from Netherlands or even NI... I have a whole project at risk and my competitors are laughing at us. bonkers.

Personally speaking I don't think these delays are anything to do with Brexit. There is a problem with the car, you only have to look at the posts from the US, and Ford aren't admitting to it. They just say that they want us to have a good experience with the car and have it delivered in good condition so are carrying out "additional" QC checks. I can only assume that what hasn't been fixed in Mexico will be fixed in Antwerp rather than at dealers. Easier to get the parts I suspect and suitable manpower. We can only hope that while our cars are on route they identify the problem, come up with a fix and get what parts are required ready and waiting.

True, but why they could get these checks done while the cars have been sitting there built since early December, or even November in some cases is anyone's guess

This doesn’t explain why it would be 2 weeks for us and 5–10 for you guys.
That said, it may also be that your sources are better informed or honest than Ford France... which wouldn’t surprise me... but would made me angry ?

New screens to fix the buzz possibly and replacement 12v batteries very likely.

This is in line with what my dealer has told me. I'm sure it is a problem with the car and nothing to do with BREXIT.

Personally, I think we should leave speculation and personal feelings aside and keep the forum Mach E related, otherwise it undermines all the excellent work done by those who created it.

because "checks" really means replace all the bits that are faulty. They aint going to say "for fixes" are they.
