Another delay for me. My delivery date moved fron 8 to 28 May according to my dealer! Also said that my car still in Veracruz. From all this fantastic news every week and all great Ford customer service I’m ready to leave. Really don’t want and try to find something good to leave me onboard.

Also there is an easter deal at halfords where you get a free mot voucher with any retail purchase if anyone is delayed and now has to mot their current car.

Don’t understand me wrong, I really like and want this car but nearly one end a half years I hear only:
“As soon as I have the information, I'll pass it on over to you”
My last 2 cars I ordered was in same situation( first delivery in UK ). For both of them my dealer call me every Monday for updates. Most of the calls just to say “nothing new” but make me feel like I’m exist.

Ask Hannah to see if she can find out for you. I find it hard to believe that with the dates that are on the order spread sheet that yours isn't on its way on the IMMACOLATA

I just got a call from My Dealer, Gates Stevenage and they have been given instruction by Ford, they will be matching the price I was quoted that included the grant. This is not a maybe or fingers crossed, he has confirmed this to me.

I’m assuming the cars will effectively depreciate by that amount as regards any options deal as it won’t be a government grant and actual selling price reduction for all cars in that time frame. Makes the FE really expensive now from Ford pricing ?

I appear to unaffected by this but I have in told my dealer it is upsetting a lot of people and he has passed that feedback to Ford.

My mot is due next week. Booked it in just for mot but because of the announcement last week I'm thinking of getting the service done as well. 2 reasons. If I pull the plug then it is done, if I go ahead then it's done and I can try and sell privately

I'm not sure about your logic/calculations.

All I can see is that if you get the £3k discount then you will end up with a car instantly worth £3k more when you take delivery.

Ive been speaking to Hannah for a week, she cant tell where my car is. I guess reading above if they were not scanned onto the ship then this could make sense...... who knows.
I'm still going backwards and forwards with Ford Online and dealer regarding trying to get an invoice for my deposit so I can get my Energy Saving Trust grant for charger install.......... no luck there either. Needless to say EST did not accept the screenshots from VISTA as an invoice.

Let's hope for you guys that the 10-14 weeks is just a standard quote and ford is, like often, just behind in getting the informations out the customers.

I’ve just got the ‘Your Car Is On It’s Way’ email and it too says 10-14 weeks.

Wouldn’t worry too much as mine has been in Antwerp since Tuesday.
