Brexit will cause more delays?

Although I’m no supporter (75% of my business is with Europe) I don’t think it should. There is a trade deal with Mexico on cars and VAT will be deferred until they arrive in the UK.

A big organisation like Ford will have a very finely tuned smooth operation setup for importing.

Customs etc will be well sorted as a process.

Ford will have all the "paperwork" pre keyed in and ready to go.

Happy to see via the F12 hack that my order status is now showing SHIPPED on 04/27/21 (production date was 4/20) - so I’m hopeful that the MME will be on the next ship in port - currently shown as the GRAND CHAMPION due in on May 13..... should keep my delivery date on August 16....

Hi mate, where on the F12 do you see that, I have been through all sections and cant see anything other than my build date was 4/17. I have the same ETA as you now after it being pushed back almost 6 week since my order.

Yep, unfortunately looks like it's been ready to go for a month! I thinks there's quite a few cars in the same position. The dealer said his ETA was showing 22/05 when he last checked. He thinks it's disappeared as it's being updated to 12/06 like his other orders.

Really hope yours and Grahame's stick to theirs now. It will be really good to see some cars start to be delivered!

My car is on the Mirafiori. Got the definite information on tuesday.
Today the ship left on it’s way to antwerp.
It should arrive on 11th May.
Planned delivery to my dealer is 4th june.

Looking at this, European cars are definitely being given precedence as Grahame mentioned. If correct @Holy Driver car will only be in Antwerp 3 weeks and delivered before ours even leave Antwerp!

If I remember correctly there are a couple more ships due in soon. As we have only heard about the 953 cars that went to Norway there MUST be a backlog of cars which I imagine will be causing a bit of a parking issue. It would be sensible, and I realise that that is hard to comprehend coming from Ford, for them to get some cars shipped as soon as possible. You could, therefore, be forgiven for thinking that those who had cars on the GH might be the first to leave. If that was me I would be pestering my dealer everyday to see if vista had any changes. Just another theory.

Ford's communications have just been appalling. If these delays get any worst I might just keep my current car and wait for the EV6. I could probably sell my order especially with the 3k or even drive it for a month or two and break even. Trouble is I am guessing Kia deliveries will be "from" and many will be next year. EV adoption stands no chance with experiences like this when spending £50k.

I think I will have the norway link ready to email back if I get an email telling me my delivery date is being pushed back (again). Don't broadcast it unless you are ok having it coming back to you ford!

with us also delivery dates have been postponed. From 04/24 to 05/15 see more. I who should be delivered normally on 05/22 I fear the worst because it still has not passed the controls.
