Great news to hear! Happy for you guys.

I dont know if you are aware, but i'll put it out there if you don't:
From what I could find, it appears that FordUK uses CLdN and Cobelfret Ferries to ship from Vlissingen to Dagenham. It looks like its the M/F Adeline and M/F Undine who services Vlissingen to Dagenham. I could not locate a VIN-tracker, unfortunatly.
Someone please correct me if i'm wrong.

On the F12 "order-status?vin....", I did not recieve any updates after it went to "InTransit". Only compund in/out. That did however only update 2 days after it had actually left Antwerp.

However the "tappsdatetime" had little to no lag on updating. It appears to update when you try to active through FordPass, and when someone enters your car...

So fingers crossed, and hope this helps!
Thanks @Guybrush that is very helpful.

My car hasn't activated so I can't track location but I have been keeping an eye on the tappsDateTime to see when the car has been entered. I'm resisting trying to activate through fordpass as this would also give me a "false" signal.

So far my car was entered yesterday lunchtime but hasn't been used since. Obviously if it had got on the barge it would have been entered again late last night or this morning to unload. Hopefully over the next few days it should get moved to Vlissingen. The ETA is now exactly 4 weeks away so there needs to be some movement to avoid further delays!

I would suggest that you all get onto your dealers, check your ford account, use the F12 function (if you can) I have just spoken to my dealer and my vista has changed again. It has gone to Compound out ANTWERP 11/5. He also told me that one of his early cars has gone compound In Flushing VHC.

Get checking peeps, looks like good news is acomoing
Sounds like the same as mine then?

Right, another snippet of information to stoke the fires that I may have lit. More information from my dealer. Because of the current situation with semi conductor shortages Ford, along with other manufacturers, have severely restricted production of certain cars. So supply is short for Fiesta, Focus and non PHEV Kuga's at the moment. Because of this he thinks that Ford are still estimating 3 - 4 weeks delivery because presumably they don't want to run all over the country with underloaded transporters. If your dealer, like mine, is lucky enough to have 'stock' cars in Flushing/ Dagenham then maybe the wait will not be as long as he can call off extra cars to make up the load. Not sure how many MME's will fit on a transporter but he has 5 coming, so if they all come at the same time the hope is that the estimated 3 - 4 weeks from arrival in Dagenham could be shorter. We will have to wait and see. If you have a good relationship with your dealer it might be worth asking the question. You never know, you could be pleased with the answer.

I've not had a response from my Notice before Action message. I included some senior people from Ford too. They really don't give a sh**.
There's a general sense of disorganisation in their business! or managed decline!

Yes true but you can look at this another way. Similar spec EV6 or Ionic5 are priced to account for the £3k. So the market will move. Is the 3K really yours or Ford's additional margin?
good point. but I think the £3k will be built into the depreciation as a profit for us unless they drop the price by £3k for new customers after we get ours.

There are some dealers discounting the iPace by £18k apparently so is it really a £65k car? It's a value decision.
I agree, it isn't a £65k car in my opinion.

I think the only reason to stay is if you really want the Mach-e. It needs to make you feel good. If it doesn't then you need to ask why. All this will be forgotten after delivery.
I agree. but it's not worth £50k for me so if that was my price it makes me feel good but I'd cancel at £50k.

It's a bit like certain fitted bedroom companies. They go in with a large price and then offer you big discounts to make you think you are getting a bargain price for an expensive product when in fact you are getting the true value price. Some people are happy to pay the inflated price because of the name thing. Yes the iPace is a nice car, but it's not THAT nice.

The semi conductor shortage is really good for the 'almost new' second hand car market.

I remember when the Mustang first come to the country, and when the re-fresh came in 2018-19. Dealers of all kinds where buying it to simply resell with £4k on the price tag to capture any impatient buyers not wanting to wait the quoted 9-12 month lead time (Actual lead time was 7 months).

The Semi conductor shortage could have a similar impact on the value of our cars if anyone later found the car was not for them.

I can confirm that the tappsdatetime is updated pretty quick, I'm lucky enough that my car has arrived to my dealer - and I was sitting outside yesterday just looking at it as a guy enters it and moves it. After that I drove home (15 min drive) and immediately checked the tappsdatetime, and it had updated already with the time the car was moved.

Hope it soons arrive to the UK as well, you've waited long enough now, cheers! :)

Just look at the Australian car market

their economy ticked along when everyone else was shutting down - there is so much pent up demand that some used cars are going above new car prices (Landcruiser)used car market is holding in very well (especially for cars <5 years old)

Wonder if a similar circumstance will happen here?

Maybe a note to everyone looking to trade their car in at the moment - the dealers need stock badly

Wow I didnt know that. Is all down to the supply / demand principle after all.

OK - just received an update from my dealer. This is the 1st update I have received from them unprompted since placing the order in December. The update was to advise:

(1) that my car is "currently at PDI stage in Antwerp" (I had worked out through the forum that my car arrived 22nd April); and

(2) "it will make it's journey through customs after PDI is completed" and they are "currently expecting delivery in JULY" (the latest update I had from Hanna was 5th of June)

Whilst I'm raging of a further month knock back I am going to stay glass half full and hope that this July date is calculated on the full 5-10 week window as 10 weeks from 22nd April does take just into July.

Membership cards being issued for the July club shortly.:mad::mad:

I see we are getting a broad spectrum of ETAs here based on dealer info, F12 function, ships coming too and from assumptions. I am soooo confused ?

Mine told me the same today - COMPOUND OUT/ANTWERP - and the nice bit is ETA to dealer now w/e 19/6 instead of 26/6 which was my last notification. Dealer confirmed they have been told cars should be with them around a month from now.
