How do you know new batteries were fitted?

I believe at least some of the delay at antwerp was a b/s and more about timing cars arrival with a launch.
Oh nothing 100% just bits I had seen on here and other places like YouTube and it seemed with some of the early built cars in the US there were some 12V battery issues.

Just put 2 and 2 together and thought they had changed them all in Antwerp, which might have been why they were there so long.

I might be wrong though!

I guessed at it but Ford claim they have fixed the battery issue by software.

My latest vista says flushing but eta moved forward to 5th June so am much happier. It may be that my car is in Dagenham and vista hasn't updated yet. Either way an eta moving nearer is a real positive step

Thank, Steve, the root cause is poor communication. I wouldn't have had to cancel and reorder (twice) if Ford had been 1/4 decent in their comms. It started to feel like a semi-abusive relationship! ... and they spoilt things.

Well, I'll keep an eye on what's going on here, David so won't leave as such, that is if you'll have been as an interested party. ;-) I'll keep the App until the car is UK delivered and then "Remove Vehicle" for the next owner. As (I think?) the only UK "customer" with an activated car I wanted to share what I could see with you guys at least. This is an excellent group... best EV Forum by a VERY long way. :)
I agree Ford have spent 6 months+ ruining the joy of the mache purchase!

Will you be going for the Kia?

I have heard a rumour that there is a dealer who has a MME waiting in Dagenham who has an eta at dealer of 22nd May. Check with your dealers guys and see if your vista has changed. Someone is going to get some good news this week. Hopefully. My dealer was day off yesterday so at the moment it isn't me, but the dealer concerned is on the South Coast.

I have absolutely fallen in love with these wheels. If I know where they are from, I may have some MME ER AWD wheels going spare .

Good! Time is now critical for me as I'm seeing an upward direction in my insurance quotes.

Churchill who was my best deal was quoting me circa £850 with £250 excess - this from mid June will be £300 more! - I'm not paying £100 a month for car insurance!

This leaves me with other insurers are quoting that Churchill price but with stupidly higher excesses.

All these nosense delivery delays just ruin certainty on running costs and thus my budgeting.

The thing with excesses is that, yes they might be scary, but the bigger they are the less your insurance costs and like the insurance itself they only kick in if you have an accident. If you do and it isn't your fault you generally get the excess back anyway. You just have to make sure it's not your fault ?

If you are getting rid of your AWD alloys give me a shout!
