I've always considered the F12 a bit of "fun" which even then didn't show anything for me until the final week or 2 before delivery. And that demonstrates how unreliable it is - as a lot of us never got data from it. It's also behind by a few days anyway.

Checking ships etc was also fun.

The only reliable (ish) data is what you get from your dealer via Vista. and that's the ETA date, plus the other bits of minor info such as compoud in, compound out and location.

Slowly making my way through the owners manual… it’s a great read. Not quite as thrilling as my favourite book, The Argos Catalogue, but its definitely up to there…

I confused by this regarding the autounlock feature… am I being daft in not understanding this? It says the car will unlock doors when travelling over 12mph? Is this correct and if so, why? I’m only asking from the point of view of a) having a child (yes I know I can use child lock) and b) any curious passengers who do not know what the levers to open the doors are for. Am I missing something? I would have thought the doors auto lock about 12mph, not unlock??

It's a misprint. If you look at the autolock section it says the same thing. At least it does on my version

Just had an email from dealer no patch today - they come in overnight apparently and he checked first thing this morning :(:(
So the French dealerships have received it, but we haven’t!? ?

Why doesn't that surprise me. UK will be the last to get it.
What surprises me the most, Grahame, is that the eCall feature isn’t even required by law in the UK (as far as I am aware?)… I’m sure there was nothing to stop them disabling the feature for us until the patch is ready, when we can take it back to dealership for them to install, if they can’t do it OTA?

Not sure about French, @Calvin4000 is in Switzerland I think. They had already given an official release date of 16/06
Damn, as Switzerland is a bit like you guys, I mean not part of the EU, I thought we would have it before anyone else... Ford must have sent you a boat with a USB key I suppose....
