Is it the optimist in me that is hoping that this is a sign that something might be about to happen soon or the pessimist side of me thinking that nothing is near to happening and this is just a vain attempt to keep our interest going. Answers on a postcard please.
I hope it is the former.
I’d say it’s the former. They can’t leave it much longer if they’re planning on Q1 deliveries.

My boredom is turning into frustration and anger at the brick wall you face when you try to get any info.

Somebody somewhere at Ford UK or Ford Europe must know what the plan is. Why does it have to be so bloody top secret?

Sorry - rant over?

I think it is more FordUS that are at fault as the car is being controlled by them and is being launched (or was) globally. Now the focus is in launching in US it seems they have forgotten about us. I still think that we won't have to wait much longer ???

I can’t believe the “See it in action” video they shared in the email we just got. I mean, really Ford? A 30 second render that has been on YouTube pretty much from day 1. It’s insulting, really.

Hi,

Why are you all so frustrated. Ford said that they are scheduling for delivery Q1 2021. It’s not even Q4 2020. They have 6 months left.

Give them a break. I believe we can fairly assume that Ford rather starts delivery sooner then later. But they also depend om a lot of things, such as batteries and electronic components. Their suppliers are also suffering from Covid.

When Ford would give information to soon which they needed to rectify once more, the world would kill them for that. So i can understand why they rather keep silent now.

Kind regards,
Rob

We like to moan, Rob... So moan we shall and breaks given, we shall not!

What do we want? More information!

When do we want it? Sooner than the Netherlands!

They don’t call us Whiney Brits for nothing! I’m gonna be mean and say “no - still not good enough!”

When most of us put down our pre-order deposits just after the launch we knew there was a wait of about 10 months. I appreciate that COVID happened, and we collectively accepted the push back of 3 months.

My beef is with the fact that the dates repeatedly get pushed back and back with no explanation. October became January, then it slipped to April/May. How many more delays to come?

All I’m asking for is a bit of customer engagement - not too much to ask is it?

UK Marketing / Sales team seems to have buried its collective head up it’s own arse hoping that it will all be ok if they just hide until someone somewhere decides what’s happening.

Now I’ve gone and wound myself up! Time to take the dog for a walk!!!!

If it makes you feel any better is is just as bad here in US. Quite a bit on this forum is actually not that accurate either, but better than nothing, maybe. Lack of communication from Ford and a web site that seems incapable of converting reservations to orders on line if you have moved since November. Only hope is car is better than Ford corporate. From my experience your best bet is to stay in touch with local dealer - you will likely need a lot of help from them to get car even ordered.

I tweeted @forduk the other day complaining about the lack of info. Got this reply earlier

Hey Grahame, hope you're enjoying the lovely weather in your part of the country and managing to keep cool!
Keep an eye on your inbox for updates coming soon.

Sounds promising or is it just me being optimistic. I really hope we get some sort of info soon.
Wow Grahame, you're a much more optimistic person than I am, for sure. I view that response as "complete rubbish" (as you all like to say in UK). They basically blew you off and gave you a generic response that means nothing.

i got the Ford email today and as explained it had nothing new or and schedule information. The Ford team do respond, I had not trouble getting them on the phone or via email. My issue is the lack of any new information. I decided to do an experiment and placed a pre order for another electric car (not Ford). I asked a few questions via the web page and got replies in minutes. I called their support number and spoke to a well informed sales person. Once the pre order was done I got an instant thank email. Over the next few days I got a schedule timeline and an invite to a test drive in early September. Just to be clear, I have NOT cancelled the Mustang.

I think it’s all of ours! I wonder if Ford is trying to get a few more pre-orders locked in before they open the order banks? Aside from the antipodes, anyone know of another RHD market the MME is going to?

EDIT: September test drive would be fantastic!

I think this first run RHD versions are only for us. I seem to remember seeing somewhere that the first years run is only for US and 5 in EUR
