I suspect I only got it because I had all the updates installed whilst it was having the pano roof and windscreen done. That was a couple of months ago though, so maybe it takes time for Ford’s systems to accept that my car has been cleared past the blockage that has led to them stopping updates for people due to the issues with 1.7.1?

As for who’s blocking the EV maps feature… maybe Apple maps isn’t fully set up with the required info in the UK? But really, knowing how crap Ford have been with getting us features in the UK, it’s probably them that are at fault.

I’m sure the unload of our vehicles is well and truly finished - but don’t forget these ships are like planes and they never run empty of cargo. It will be loading up with EU made vehicles that will be going back to the USA for the return trip. :)

Might be some glitch we need Louis to look into, but wanted to check it wasn't just me? haha.

Yep same for my, posted that on the Whatsapp group this morning. Maybe its down for maintenance.

Progress at last. My dealer "thinks" my windscreen is in. The chap that KNOWS is off until Monday. If it is in RESULT. Next problem is a fitter to install it. Possibly good news on that front as he thinks he has found an independent that might be willing to do it. Unfortunately he is based about 30 miles away so won't come to do one. However, as my dealer has three screens to replace it will be worth the trip to do all in one day. RESULT No.2 ?. If the software update fixes my glitches then we will be good to go. RESULT No. 3. Car is booked in for the pano roof/software update Tues/Wed next week so at long last things are moving in the right direction. Another 7 weeks and it will be going in for its' annual inspection as I will be away for its' birthday. Can't believe I have had the car for nearly a year already.

Indeed! Although i had to move dealers as the one down here was not very helpful so my MME is going to Trustford in Barnsley before a 300 mile trip down to Devon ?

We've all been waiting a long time now, myself over a year at this stage so what's another month to 6 weeks? haha.

I'll let you know when Louis has come back to me about the site and confirmed it's all back up and running again.

Think my MME will be on the next crossing from Veracruz to Europe. Sitting in compound waiting for me. Can't really complain as only waited 3 weeks so far!

Think my MME will be on the next crossing from Veracruz to Europe. Sitting in compound waiting for me. Can't really complain as only waited 3 weeks so far!
I think Ford have very quickly got their ? together since last year and are knocking these MME's out at an astonishing rate at the Cuautitlan plant in Mexico, so you're very lucky indeed! haha.

If your MME is currently sitting at the docks in Veracruz, i'd imagine you're earmarked for the Grande Mirafiori, due to dock there on the 10th April. If not this and you're unlucky then the Grande Texas on the 24th April for sure.

Do they need an annual inspection? I thought it was every 2yrs/18000 miles?

The service interval is two years but you only get 1 years Ford breakdown cover so to keep that you need a mid service inspection. I will only have the one as year 2 is the service and year 3 is MOT and year 4 another service

Not seen this one before - but there again BigRed has never seen any snow her her lifetime.

What did the Alert detail say? (presumably clean front sensors?) and did it clear after the snow was removed?

You also might wanna top up that HV battery ;)

Louis is a star isn't he!? Sometimes his site is affected by Ford's website being down. Obviously his page can't scrape the data if the source is unavailable.

If you ever find the whereismymme page is down try opening your Ford dashboard page (www.ford.co.uk/dashaboard) and check your order there. If that fails - that mean Louis' site will be down too.
