Google's refresh is pretty slow. That doesn't even show the test track they've put in the south parking lot.

Now if I could just task the satellites at Planet Labs to target their 0.4 meter resolution satellite cameras to send me daily images ...
I know a guy at CFHT (Canada, France, Hawaii Telescope) on top of Maunakea. I wonder if a taco or 7 from that other thread could talk him into "borrowing" some time on the telescope. We'd be quick.

:p

Google Earth says Imagery date 3/29/2019
Bing's got 2020. Don't know when in 2020 though. ?

looks like the employees can buy a lot of shrimp or wings to test the frunk with at Sam's Club, though.

That one still looks older. No parking garage in the bottom-right lot.

BUT THAT DOESN'T EXPLAIN IF THEY ARE USING SAM'S CLUB TO TEST THE FRUNK

THIS IS THE KIND OF KNOWLEDGE I AM ON THIS FORUM TO FIND OUT

As long as we adding spy satellites to our list of tools for following the factory's progress, here is an updated photo of the factory taken during the plant reconfiguration in January 2020. If you compare to the previous google image taken in 2019 you can see that they have replaced the preloading parking lot with a covered garage. Good for protecting our cars but not so good for spying.

We maybe be able to catch our MMEs staging in the parking lot for loading (blue box) or entering or exiting the parking garage (yellow arrows). An image is scheduled for the sometime during the first three weeks of November, clouds permitting.

The image was taken by Maxar's Worldview 2 satellite.

That doesn't look like a covered parking lot to me, if you zoom in via Google Earth you see the shadow of the streetlights on the parking lot. Wouldn't put street lights on top of myself knowing that the roof won't be used, waste of money to put street lights on top of an unused roof.
Looks like they re-did the asphalt and didn't put the lines on it the time the picture was taken.

Has anyone heard an update on the JD Power article that was to have been released, but then became delayed?

Ok, so Apple Maps has a good picture of the site and from there you can do a bit of speculative imagery analysis. The largest parking lot appears to have angled rows that have two cars in each row for about 100 cars per column. And it looks like, based on the cars that are parked there in the image, and the painted stripes in the lot and the smaller lot above, the lot has a total capacity of about 1,400 cars. I believe I read someplace earlier that they were planning on running 1,000 cars per week? If so, then they should be shipping cars about once a week to once every 10 days, once they begin producing units for sale at production volume. If production starts the 3rd week of October, as has been speculated, and NA gets units before Europe, and FE and Premium are run first, then possibly 9,000 units would be produced by Christmas. Of course, remember, it takes about 4 weeks to get from that lot to your local ford store, so probably only 5,000 Mustang Mach Es are going to actually be in customer’s hands in 2020!

Unless Ford does factory delivery!

The closer I looked, the more I thought that too. Same reason (lack of shadows like the tanks). Was kinda surprised at hearing a parking garage initially.

I had originally counted about 3500 parking spots in the various lots. And that was the straight line parking that I think they stack production cars in end to end, and not the employee lots with standard angled parking.
