Not bad when you consider $56,000 MSRP and $7,500 tax credit. So residual value is around 48% after ~4 years. Of course many paid $5,000-10,000 ADM at the time.

Minus the few thousand I made on the 21, and A-plan. Looks like a new one would be $45k w tax, so $20k out of pocket. Pass.

Interesting. It says my 22 GT with 47K miles is worth $20K
Mine was +$660 trade-in. Must be just tax savings.

Ok I put my info into Carvna
2024 Premium AWD ER with Pano Roof
20,000 miles

Caravana offering me $27600

Original sticker was $54000 minus $6K rebated and dealer took $4K off down to $44000

Local dealer that rotated my tires at 10K miles offered me $32,500 by text recently but they were trying to get me back on the lot so number is suspect.

Two months ago another local dealer offered me $28700 when I was on their lot to test drive a 2025 Rally

Interesting thread, which leads to the next question.......What are the must haves in your next EV?
Mine:
1. Heated and VENTILATED Seats (it's hot in the south in summer)
2. More forgiving Suspension......Come on Ford, most of us I bet are north of 50.
3. A minimum of 350 miles/charge (summer or winter) so I guess heat pump?
4. A Frunk!!! Once you've frunked there is no turning back
5. UI that is "FAST"......I'm pretty sure Ford got there chips out of the old Commodore 64's.

So, currently i'm just going to drive my girl for a while longer......That being said the BMW IX3 coming out this summer I believe meets my criteria. I guess it will just come down to price and want vs. need. Lots of good reviews, but no hard facts on cost that I have seen. Not to mention they are not an American company.

No ventilated seats on the Neue Klasse and they’re saying cost will be around $60k for base AWD which is the first model out. They have M Sport and M Sport Pro packages to bring the price up if you like that sort of thing.

The new Porsche Cayenne electric has ventilated seats and on a 400KW charger can charge from 10 to 80% in 16 minutes. It might cost around three Mach-e's though.

If we're talking about Ford and the Mach-e, I don't think we're going to see even incremental changes- as far as improvements like 10% increase in range or 10% decrease in battery cells or weight.

Dodge made the Challenger from 2008 to 2024 only changing the grill, headlights, stripes and stickers over the years- choose your engine- 6cyl, 8cy, or supercharged. If Ford makes the Mach-e for 10 straight years I think it will be in this current range and set up we have now. This year we have California stripes.

Dripping Oil Dropping Gears Everyday? That Dodge? Yeah, no. Let’s not benchmark ourselves to losers. Besides, the point of the Challenger is to look retro as a nod to the muscle car era. So by definition, it is more forgiving from an evolution point of view.

In 10 years, the Mach-E will be a terrible EV.

Im mostly joking, btw.

It wasn't a comparison or tying it to anything, it was a reference point that Ford could probably sell this car for 10 or 15 years without changing the body like Dodge did with the Challenger, next time I'll choose Toyota Camry.

And I was answering the question above about what you want to see in the next gen MME.

And I think we all know that we probably are not going to get a next gen MME.

Specifically what you're not going to see is changes like battery efficiency improvements range improvements etc.

What's coming out the end of the factory now is what will continue to come out for the XX amount of years they choose to produce this.

The two-door Mustang had a retro period as well in the early 2000s and then they went to evolving the body style from there.

I'm hope I'm wrong and they do improve it. And right now I don't see anything in the EV market at 50k or less that I want to buy except a Rally MME

. A minimum of 350 miles/charge (summer or winter) so I guess heat pump?---No near 50k or lower USA dollar EV gets 350 miles of range in true winter conditions as in below20F.

GT's don't seem to be holding value right now as dealers are trying to dump any. It's the scare of the range that seems to be doing it I figure.
