This morning when I got on the car I was 90% charge with a GOM range of 282 miles, or a full charge distance of about 313 miles. After going about 12 miles (suburban street driving - normal speeds.) the reported range was 230 miles at a 86% state of charge or a full charge distance of 267 miles.

I've never seen a range fall-off like that.

To the best of my knowledge (i.e., I didn't do this) I didn't reset the GOM. I did have a weird message in the app this morning that the charging would occur outside my specified time range because of reasons, but when I got in the car it looked normal and the charge log showed that it happened at the regular time.

There's no real question and I assume things will even themselves out. Just adding a note for the archeologists.

Most likely temp swings, looks like it's going between 60-80ºF in CA. Below 70ºF is really where the range display starts to drop quickly. This may be the beginning guys...

Driving 12 miles I would expect to use about 3-4% battery, so that's also an expected drop.

Yea, the 90-86% makes sense, but the 52 mile guesstimate drop after 12 miles IRL is new.

And so it begins.
Maybe this is the answer to " when is the official end of summer? ". It's not Labor Day. It's not based on the solstice. It's when the " my range is suddenly lower on the GOM" questions start. ??

The official start of winter is when the " did Ford put the wrong battery in my car" questions start. ???

This seems to happen if you set up a charging window overnight and the car thinks it’ll charge past midnight. I assume it breaks the charge windows into daily windows, one ending at midnight and one starting tomorrow at midnight, then freaks out that it needs to charge beyond the first window’s end
