There is no LX trim on the MME. The emblems for “LX” and “Dual Motor” are additons the owner of that car installed after purchase. ?‍?

I know that car! The guy came to a couple of our meetups in Carlsbad. He even brought his drone to get some footage. He added the LX badge as a nod to the LX trim on the old fox body Mustangs. You'll notice he added a Tesla "Dual Motor" badge just to annoy Tesla fans. He also put GT PE wheels on the Premium. He sold it recently so it now makes for an interesting car to explain to people shopping for a Mach-E.

The old Fox body LX 5.0 was the sweet spot in the lineup. All the power of a GT but at an easier price of entry.

The upgraded 2024 AWD ER cars fit this bill with 0-60 in 4.1 seconds. Slap some 245+ wide tires on there and the 4X should be a real hoot.

My mom had an LX 5.0 convertible. It was nice. A buddy’s dad had a GT. The GT was quicker because it was a hard top and had a manual tranny. Not that we ever took them to the strip… ??

Fast for a 200hp 5.0. The 80s really sucked.

I loved my 89 LX 5.0. Sub 12 quarter and would destroy every other car on a road course. Not stock obviously.
