In the overhead console, there’s something that looks like either an LED or a camera lens. Any idea what it is?

Spy cam to make sure you don't eat or drink in your car - if you do, FordPass automatically goes into "permanently broken but always in a different way" mode

I was sooo tempted to reply "Wrong answers only" when I first saw this post. Clearly, that was unnecessary. (Also, probably this is an interior motion sensor for the alarm system.)

Ah so this is where I put the tape until I can permanently turn off the motion sensor.

Temp/humidity sensor. The alarm sensors are under the little grille on the overhead console. Technically speaking, OP that is not the overhead console, its still considered the windshield.

Nice find. I feel like this is one more piece of information they should give us access to in the app (what's the current cabin temperature?).

Well the HVAC is supposed to maintain the temp you have set so in theory you shouldn't need it. You can probably view it with FORScan.

Bill Gates is using your car to track all the chips he had inserted in people when they got vaccines. He’s collecting that data and selling it to Tesla and Google. You just spotted the tracking device before “the procedure” took effect. How unfortunate. If you look outside your window right now ... you’ll see a car .... no the other one ... guys in black suits are almost at your door....

In theory is great, but this seems like an obvious datapoint they should give us. If not for HVAC reasons, I'd be curious to know how hot or cold it gets in the cabin under certain conditions while I'm away from the car. Tesla's app has it. Hopefully this feature will come in time.
