What update did I get?

I just noticed I had an alert on my ford pass. I was previously autoupdated to 1.7.1, and now I am on 2.1.0. Maybe the downtime some had the other day was Ford fixing a scaleout of their updates.

Now for the ? , at 80% it's saying I have 125 miles... Far under the 216 for 270 * .8, and it's been decreasing, used to be closer to 160+.

Probably my wife's fault for all the preheating and short trips getting 0 miles for little range...

I know, I need to take it for a long trip... can't trust the GOM....

I always check in the car, press car, then settings tab, then scroll down to system updates.

Did you get any of the features of 1.7.1?

This is most likely the fix for that. The OTA with the fix just had one config file in it I believe.

I thought that other guy talking about the stuck 1.7.1 fix said it isn’t an OTA fix, they have to go to the dealer? Maybe 2.1.0 is working on stuck cars and just bypassing 1.7.1, but I think its been said that 2.1.0 is different modules than 1.7.1? Confusing!

I know everyone jokes about tic tac toe but 1.7.1 actually fixed some really annoying bugs too lol

It’s probably just a coincidence but CarPlay refused to connect after I played tic tac toe a couple times!! After several failures to connect it came back last night on a trip to see a movie at the local mall.

I feel like the car isn’t totally to blame as I’ve had that happen before and a phone restart fixed it. Haven’t had it pop up since 1.7.1 though.

2.1.0 updates the Gateway Module, so it's possible that it includes a fix for whatever caused some cars to choke on 1.7.1. But I haven't read any reports of 1.7.1 getting unstuck after 2.1.0 was installed.

I’ve got a lot picked out so I can make it easier to access when you make it full screen. There’s definitely a lot of niche channels that are interesting to listen to sometimes

that's what my car shipped with (July build), now it's at 2117 and 168. Looks like you got rolled back and they are gonna do update again?
