Two bits of good news on BC 1.2:

1. Sandy Munro likes Blue Cruise 1.2. You may recall that he wasn't very fond of the original. He and hist team like this version much better.

2. Testing of the BC 1.2 PowerUps is nearing completion and rollouts should start in July (insider info).

That's very good news about the OTA release.

Re the video, the reviewer is obsessed with the green "Ready" at the bottom center of the IPC, but he doesn't realize that this has no connection whatsoever to BC. That just means "ready to drive."

And he remarks that he thinks BC1.2 handles curves better, but there is zero evidence of this and, in fact, right after making this remark the car asks him to put his hands back on the wheel LOL.

Glad to see he liked the lane change feature.

Yeah, I have always found some of these YouTube videos to be funny. They always seem half baked and they are people who don't fully understand the vehicle like they present themselves to.

I do like that they did say trying to compare BC 1.2 to FSD Beta isn't fair at all. I agree completely here. I personally feel FSD can do maneuvers that BC can't, but the quality of everything in FSD and driver confidence in it lacks far behind BC. Even Autopilot doesn't have as much driver confidence as BC seems to have due to the phantom braking issue that is common.

Anyways, good to know that July is a target to begin OTA rollout. Let's see if they can hit it.

Just to be clear, that is not an announced target.

Well yeah... but again let's see if they can hit it. It's not like we would hold them accountable than unofficial back channel timeline...

It would just be more telling of how their development process is going and if they are being realistic with themselves.
