I’m wondering if the next update was the hang up in rolling out BC 1.3 OTA. Seems like no one, even in the EA program, has received it yet. Wonder what’s the problem and when will it be resolved?

I’ve been wondering the same thing. Maybe they’re trying to figure out how to preserve settings…??

Y'all get upset when you get buggy software. Y'all get upset when they hold up software to fix bugs. This is literally software that can kill you if it messes up. You'll get it when they're ready.

Now if we want to complain about their messaging...

That would track if they weren't delivering new cars with 1.3, obviously they feel the software is murder free.

There are other complexities and I am not dismissing it, I said the same when we were waiting on BlueCruise 1.0 OTA for 2021 F-150 owners while we watched Job 2 2021 F-150 owners driving around with BC enabled since it came from the factory. It is a lot harder to do large, multi-module updates and you need to make sure you have enough free storage to hold the existing software and the update before applying it, want to have back out options if one module fails, etc.

But as you said the messaging is the tough part. When there on MME owners on this site driving with BC 1.3, you want to hear why your investment isn't given similar urgency. There may be good reasons, but explain them.

Agreed. And the worst part is how badly they manage expectations. I wrote about it in the BC 1.3 thread:

https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/coming-soon-bluecruise-1-3.29252/post-707321
Since @Ford Motor Company did set expectations in that thread, it would be nice if they'd likewise make a public statement giving an update if things get delayed. People like communication. Silence is what makes everyone go nuts haha.

I wonder if there is an actual problem with the rollout as a whole that's caused it to stop, or if they're waiting until the 2021 Job 1 issue is solved to move on with the rest so they can "go live" all at the same time with all cars.

These are the release notes for 6.5

Ford Power-Up 6.5

We've updated your heating system (HVAC) to improve the heat capability in your vehicle when exterior temps are at or below-15C/5F. In other words, we're helping ensure you stay nice and cozy inside your vehicle whether you are driving at highway speeds or taking a Sunday cruise around town.

Ford Power-Up software updates like this help us make improvements without the inconvenience of asking you to leave home. At Ford we value your satisfaction, and we respect your time.

@Ford Motor Company, there are owners of 2022s and 2023s who are now going on six to twelve months of ownership, but it’s been over a week since they got 6.4! This is a humanitarian disaster. Please drop what you’re doing on fixing 6.1 and roll out 6.5 already!!!! Haven’t they waited long enough?

NO! Don't listen! There are loyal early adopters who own 2021 models that don't wanna be forgotten
