Tonight I was driving into my garage and saw a white powdery crystal like substance that just disintegrates in your hands. This is mostly right in the middle between my rear tires.

I did some searches on this and found a few discussions that Tesla owners saw something similar under their cars.
Has anyone seen this?

I saw other pics of similar white powder on battery terminals.
Feel like this is too coincidental.

Put it container, Preferably 2. Take it to the dealer and have the car inspected.
The car has lithium-ion cells and are secured inside a waterproof battery case surrounded by crash-absorption protection and liquid-cooled. Leaking ? A failing Li-ion begins to hiss, bulge and leak electrolyte. The electrolyte consists of lithium salt in an organic solvent (lithium hexafluorophosphate off white in color.

That was a remarkably thorough answer! I learned something today.

Don’t pick it up with bare hands either.

Thanks, it was my plan today to take it in. Will post back what Ford says it might be. In Missouri, no Cocaine beaches near me. :)

Are you certain it came from the Mach-E, was there any residue on the undercarriage?

Yes they salt here. My Mach will never see salt.
But do check out if what I posted could be the problem.

Learn something new everyday! You would think if the electrolyte was leaking your car display would light up like a christmas tree with error codes. There does not seem to be any residue on the underside of the car. Personally I think it is coming from some where else.

I've seen this type of residue on concrete that has gotten wet, then dried out. I've been told that it's salt and/or calcium coming out of the crete. I have no way to know if that's true, but thought it worth mentioning.
