Anyone paying cash and buying their MME out right? Is this a good or bad idea.
Go with Options Financing and take the incentive. If you want to pay cash, pay off the principal amount before your first payment is due. ??

If you are happy with your dealer/salesperson, maybe don't pay off your options contract until after 3 months so you don't screw them over their incentive and chalk that small amount of interest to honest/good service (or so I hear, they need it to be there for 3 months/90 days...correct me if that has changed).

I think 3 months of interest is less than $300 on 36/48 months options?

When I did the math for my scenario with down payment it was significantly cheaper to go with options and refinance at 3 years vs 3, 4 or 5 year at the available interest rate.

Options really is a winner.

I am hoping to get a MME in March from a dealer in Texas, so I have been getting ready to sign. During the process, I found out about Ford Options but I could not find anything on Ford website about $2500 retail bonus cash. Do I need to ask dealer that I want to finance with Ford Options (and give me $2500 discount now) during the signing? I have been reading about dealers do not know about the Ford Options and that makes we worry. Can I apply for the Ford Options through Ford website before heading to the dealer? Thank you in advance for your help.

Contact your salesperson and let them know you are interested in Ford Options. Send them a link to the Ford Options page on Ford's web site so that it's very clear what you're referring to.

Ask them what incentives are currently in play for your zip code. It might be $1,000, it might be $2,500. Also be aware that it might be different in March.

Other than getting some of your concerns on the table, and some questions answered, there's nothing else you can do in advance. You cannot apply for the loan in advance, or lock in the rebate in advance, for instance.

Create a dummy order on the ford website and you can see the current options bonus cash for your area.

Got it. It is only $1000 right now. Hopefully, it will change to $2500 in March. Wishful thinking.
