Windshield Calibration

I've been waiting for a windshield replacement from Salelite since April. I just got a call today that they finally have an ETA of the end of this month, but the person scheduling the appointment stated that they are not qualified to do the calibration on my vehicle. I quick search shows a number of people have gotten replacements at Safelite with no issues. Has anyone else run into this?

I can't imagine why it would take 5 months, others haven't waited unusual periods. And Safelite should calibrate, they do for everyone else.

USAA confirmed that the windshield is on back order. They called a few different auto glass places after i had waited for over a month.

they are now going to call a different Satelite location to confirm if they can in fact calibrate. The update they got back from the Safelite confirmed what the local shop told me, they said they can’t calibrate a Mach-E. USAA is looking to just move my repair to a dealer at this point.
