I had to leave my MME outside one night and the lawn sprinklers got it. Took it to the touchless car wash I've already been to a number of times. The paint is fine but long streaks of water marks all over the windshield. Tried all the home remedies and some products from Amazon with no success. Just had a pro detail shop try using buffer and glass cleaning products with still little improvement. Anyone else had this issue?

I purchased mine two weeks ago and it came with distracting water stains. I’m actually here browsing for products since rubbing, Invisible Glass, and other stuff hasn’t removed them.

It is hard water staining. Home method is vinegar and water 1 part to 1 part. Keep it on the windshield it will eat your wax on your car. Leave on 1 minute or 2 don't let it dry, or reapply.
Just wipe it off/ should be a good a gone. I have used CLR before, Be careful of car finish. This will also work. https://www.chemicalguys.com/heavy-...ZAV9GBRe4sGb-z9H9aZtIu_rw2kTzEaQaArsIEALw_wcB
I’ll second the Chemical Guys water spot remover. That stuff works really well.

I just bought some Stoner (Invisible Glass) Glass stripper, that I plan to use to prep for putting a ceramic coat on my glass surfaces. It is actually a polish, and it is said to remove everything from glass, including ceramic and other window treatments, just add elbow grease.

I put Aquapel on my windshield shortly after I got the car, but it really hasn't worked as well as I have seen in the past with other cars. When I put glass cleaner on I see some kind of haziness while it is wet. I'm hoping the stripper will get it totally clean, then I will use isopropyl alcohol before putting the ceramic on. I see there are ceramic coatings specifically for glass, I'm still doing my research on that.

For detail, firstly you need to mix a solution of equal parts white vinegar and warm water (1:1 ratio) in a spray bottle for easy application. Then spraying the mixture onto your (closed) car window where you see the water spot. Then Let wait for 5 – 10 minutes, longer for stubborn stains, before rinsing it off with plain water. And dry the window with a soft cloth. To more effective, you can repeat Steps 1 through 3 until you remove hard water stains.
