Ok, I bought my MachE back in July 2021 and I have just under 6,000 miles on my E. Since it was new, my wipers will cycle one time at random. It usually occurs right after startup or shortly after. Anyone else have this issue?
I would take it back to my selling dealer, but they are in Georgia and I’m in NC. it’s not a big deal, and I’m afraid if I take it into a Ford dealer it will come out with more issues than before.

Agree.

To turn off auto wipe......move the selector stalk down to the bottom position. Right now it is up one notch and waiting for the rain sensor to kick in.

It's a "courtesy wipe" and it's supposed to do it, if you are in Automatic. I guess I am just used to it happening after I have finished washing the windows a short time later, so mine is the Courtesy function For sure. I rarely, if at all, get a random wipe in the Mach E. Any car I have had with automatic Wipers (Chrysler 300 and lincoln) have had an occasional random wipe now and again. They probably all use the same sensor and it’s not perfect.

Why do people keep saying that lol. Courtesy wipe is a delayed wipe after you’ve used the washer fluid. It’s not a random wipe every now and then lol.
