I was forced to endure both Disney's years ago, and thank God, I will never, ever, never, ever, never, EVER have to go back. ?
The last time we went our oldest told our youngest that Mickey wasn't real. I think that was over a quarter century ago.

I understand and agree, but how dare you call my happy place ā€œRatlandā€ ????

The problem with doing an event in Philadelphia is … Philadelphia ? between our various municipal strikes and centuries-old potholes, I’m not sure it would be a great venue ?
I haven't been to PHL in years. I might have been flying the 727 the last time I was there, so make that decades. In any event, we stayed near the airport.

We're in California and Disneyland is our go to vacation spot. Has been for 50 years. We honeymooned there 48 years ago. We've been to WDW one time in 2018 and have a 2 week long trip planned for there this fall. Yes, WDW is way bigger with more parks and has way more attractions and shows, but without the original Disneyland that my wife and I grew up vacationing at with our families while growing up WDW wouldn't even exist.

I miss the 727 ?
And if you were staying at the airport, there’s a good chance you weren’t actually in the city of Philadelphia ?

I flew the 727 for almost 8 years. I spent 6 1/2 of those years in climb. :p Takeoff from Memphis headed to Oakland, and you'd be west of Oklahoma City before you reached cruise altitude.

Tokyo International Airport isn't in Tokyo either, so I'm used to not being in the named city.

As for the house that Mortimer Mouse built, a Ford EV event in Orlando would be cool.

I was scrolling through YouTube and saw a video that there was a Mustang Mach-E meetup and Disney. I got excited and was going to whine that nobody publicized it - then I saw it was for the stupid Disneyland in California, not the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida! ? @Ford Motor Company , you need to do events on the East Coast! And Disney World would be a great place for an event ?
it was not Ford event. SoCal chapter of Mustang Mach-E of America club organized it.

I mean it make sense tho I think there’s more EVs in cali than any other state.
This is true. My neighborhood in central California , for example, is 56 houses and all but 11 have at least one EV! Most are Tesla, but there is a large ownership in California for sure. It probably helped that this set of homes comes with EV ready garages, and they did heavily advertise it.

I checked with the team because I, too, hadn't heard of an official Ford meet up. It was through the Mustang Mach-E Club that Ford supports.

However! Ford has cars and coffee events with customers and Ford folks at nearly every Electrify Expo event across the country. Check out when one is coming to you: https://www.electrifyexpo.com/

Yes, it would! And it’s close to the airport, for people who wouldn’t be able to drive in.
Yeah, I replaced my Mach E with a GV60 but I'd consider going just to see the latest cars. I still have a lot of affection for the Mach E.

It's a wonderful museum - and they participate in NARM so folks with memberships at a home museum can take advantage of the reciprocity benefits.

I live in SoCal about an hour or so from Disneyland but Disney has lost my trust so I won't patronize them.

Having worked for the WDW Inc (Disney) for several decades my guess is whatever meetup they had was a gimmick to get you to come to the park and drop some $. I’m sure it’s different in SoCal but outside of there I’ve found that they have little interest in any environmental issues or ā€œbeing greenā€. I’m personally assigned to 8 cyl 5 ton truck that they expect me to idle in for 8+ hours every day. I run it as little as I can get by with.
