Sorry Steve, but even though I'm in CA I NEVER go to Disneyland. WDW is one of my favorite places and I'm there at least once a year if not more. ˚O˚
Same. I'll fly across country for it.

I live in SoCal about an hour or so from Disneyland but Disney has lost my trust so I won't patronize them.
SoCal MME chapter is doing a lot of meetups (compare to other chapters) and participate in many SoCal EV events. I would highly recommend to join club if you would like once in awhile meet fellow MME owners and share experience or adventure.

I was scrolling through YouTube and saw a video that there was a Mustang Mach-E meetup and Disney. I got excited and was going to whine that nobody publicized it - then I saw it was for the stupid Disneyland in California, not the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida! ? @Ford Motor Company , you need to do events on the East Coast! And Disney World would be a great place for an event ?
There's no way you called the OG Disney park that Walt built, lived in, and walked in "stupid."

In all seriousness (Yes I know, that goes against my grain), there are valid reasons for trying a Mach-e meetup in SoCal first. First, EV adoption is significantly higher in California than elsewhere. It’s testing the waters before going to RatLand Florida. ;) Second, there’s probably a much larger Mme population in SoCal than anywhere else. I’m betting if this one works, it’ll go to other attractions. Maybe a “Liberate yourself from the (gas) hose” event at the Liberty Bell? ?
Yep, one state tries to promote electric vehicles and the other promotes fossil fuels.

We're in California and Disneyland is our go to vacation spot. Has been for 50 years. We honeymooned there 48 years ago. We've been to WDW one time in 2018 and have a 2 week long trip planned for there this fall. Yes, WDW is way bigger with more parks and has way more attractions and shows, but without the original Disneyland that my wife and I grew up vacationing at with our families while growing up WDW wouldn't even exist.
Try Disneyland Paris if you get a chance.

We have yet to make it to WDW, but do Disneyland every year.

I'm up for Orlando/WDW; but not Philly. I don't want to come back to my car and see it up on blocks stripped down to it's chassis!

We've talked about Disneyland Paris a few times, but the thought of travelling that far at our age is a bit daunting.
We had a great time at WDW in 2018. This time we're staying longer as we missed a few things our first trip.

? that was wrong - I’ll hang my head in shame. I’ll try not to conflate Disneyland with Los Angeles ?

As a single individual park, there is no better than Disneyland. No single gate has more must-do attractions than that one park.

As a resort (including all of the parks), I can understand why some people like Walt Disney World better, since it is 4 parks, 2 water parks, and a bunch of other stuff. Though I still prefer Disneyland for the rich history. Plus, for me, I feel like there is no single park as strong as Disneyland. Including Magic Kingdom.

When talking about the cities they live in, neither is anything to write home about. But DL isn't in LA. Anaheim and Orange Country are a different vibe all together than LA.

Also you should go to Tokyo. We went last year for the first time and it's incredible (and way different).

I visited Disneyland Hong Kong once when our airplane was hard broke for 3 days. After years of flying over it and driving past it going to the “new” Hong Kong airport it seemed appropriate. I stopped revving the jets engines when I flew over it after that (it’s fairly close to the airport). Just kidding, I didn’t stop revving engines at all. :p

I bet we have more Mach-E’s here in the greater Detroit area than California has.
