They screwed up the curb weight on the CaRt1.

Also it looks like interior protection package no longer comes with carpet mats when optioned.

They got rid of the carpet mats with interior protection for 2022 models.

I heard some rumors that the GT's boost might be extended to 10 seconds for the 2023 model. Since Ford likes to pretend there is nothing wrong with the car's performance and it's not even worth addressing, we will just have to wait until someone can test it and see if that got implemented. Could have been referring to a mid-2023 hardware or software update too.

Could just be another example of order guides and specs guides being wrong.

It’s Mach E tradition at this point.

We care more about this stuff than the people whose job it is to write this stuff.

In our minds it’s some huge team that puts these together. Reality? One person who makes typos like the rest of us.

We have also all heard rumors over the last couple years. But mostly from people who don’t know squat.

But your location in Michigan makes me think you’re closer to the truth than most.

Whats the source of the rumors?

Still no mention anywhere that the GT’s only make their rated hp/tq numbers for 5 seconds before the party is over. Shameful.
I have had a GTPE for 6 months, and have to tell you its power is awesome, especially for a SUV. not sure what you expect. What do you expect from a 5000 lb SUV?

Let’s not make this another one of those threads. There are plenty of threads that cover this ad nauseam.

Reading through these specs, my 2021 Premium AWD Extended Range seems to only be at a range disadvantage compared to the 2023 (270 updated to 277 miles vs 290). Am I missing something significant?

2022 and 2023 models got 91 kWh unlocked in the batteries.

Other than that, we should be mechanically identical.

Although, no clue if Ford eliminated some parts under the hood like they talked about a year ago (using less parts and saving weight somehow).

I’m very interested if the 2023 range increase is real, or just an updated EPA number to reflect the 2022 range than many people seem to get. I think 290 miles corresponds to 3.2 miles per kWh (in a 91 kWh battery) which is totally reasonable even for highway driving.
