Ford Connected Charge Station Stop Sell Order

Found out today that Ford has issued a Stop Sell order for the Ford Connected Charge Station.

If you do not have one yet, you will have to wait.

They have found a fault with them. I believe a fix has already been found but all the produced units will have to be modified before they can sell.

At least the car still works!!!

Yeah from what I've seen on the forum thus far, the car will still work as long as you don't plug the ford charger into the car!

This may explain why the Ford engineers wanted to know what charger I was using when they started work on Marlin.

I'm curious as to how long it will take for Ford to provide instructions on what to do with already installed chargers. I'm lucky I don't have my car yet. They've issued a stop sell but no email instructions and the 'Connected Charge Station' tab on the Fordpass App is ready to go with no alerts.

Well well, just came in from hanging the damn thing on the side of my house. Guess I better not wire the breaker.. need to know if I can just return for a refund or do they send a new unit. (Wonder if it is the poor excuse for strain relief on the car cable?)

I will see if the dealer will provide his communication that he received today. I also have another source that I may be able to get some info from tomorrow.
