PowerUp 6.8.0 released

I have a 2023 RWD premium in EAP, car is currently installing PowerUp 6.8.0. I didn’t take screenshot of release notes but it appears to be an IPC update if we are to believe Ford is getting better at accurate release notes. It is an inhibit update, will get screenshot when it’s finished.

It updates both locations on the IPC.

The update took 5 minutes to install while inhibited. Your car was recording less than ideal SoC at the time. I wonder if Ford has relaxed its SoC requirements a bit? I have been seeing this a lot lately.

I wonder if this will make it so the speedometer can't be centered anymore like it is in the 2023.5 cars. If so, people are not going to be happy.

Appears so. Car is in park with cruise control and lane keep assist off.

I have lane centering on all the time anyway, so it won't bother me. But I predict there's going to be A LOT of complaining.

WTF is that? ??

That is a hideous permanent layout. What does it look like in unbridled mode?

Did thy update the 1990s clip art themed home screen, settings and camera icons on the center screen to the teased newer icons yet?

Did thy update the 1990s clip art themed home screen, settings and camera icons on the center screen to the teased newer icons yet?

In park, didn't notice any change between Whisper, Engage and Unbridled. Next time I'm out i'll run it in unbridled and see if the animations still happen during acceleration. I'm guessing it will mirror whatever 2023.5's are seeing (mine is a job 1 2023). SYNC Icons are still the same, I'd imagine that would require another APIM update

I should also note that I did modify the IPC with FORScan when I got the car to have the GT power bar and replaced the compass with weather. Those settings in the as built held with the 6.8.0 update

Maybe this update will allow that to work for 2021 Job 1 cars?

I lost connected services during update 6.2.1 on a Job 1 car today. hoping its just in the middle of a update and that why amd it will come back.

You have to go into settings and turn Connectivity back on, sometimes the menu won't populate, just gotta keep trying. Happened to me with that update as well.

I wonder if my car is downloading this, when I go to check for updates it has the checking for updates screen if you try to check right when your car turns on (contacting the service, this may take a minute or less) and just stays on that screen never displaying my status (left it for 10 minutes). Currently on 6.7.
