Most likely a generic message related to whatever cloud provider they are using for their API servers which both the car and the phone app has to communicate through. (Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Cloudflare, Akamai, etc).

I've had the update (26.1) since it came out on the 3rd of this month and have not seen any spikes like you have. I'm in and out of my car quite a bit during the day and use PAAK all the time. My phone is always very close to my car since I'm usually in the kitchen or garage and they are right next to each other. I think I use more battery than I've seen others use but on an average the Ford App uses 5-7% of my phones battery each day and I'm fine with that since at the end of the day I always have at least 30% battery charge in my phone.Has anyone noticed battery drain in the iOS app update? If you are walking near your Mach-E that is going to wake it up. Whereas I wouldn't think it is drawing much power it would be more on the phone. I would be more worried about the power draw on the 12v battery in the Mach-E.Has anyone noticed battery drain in the iOS app update? That is pretty interesting, I do find it strange that the iPhone uses so much power for something that really shouldn’t be that much. I use an Android phone and haven’t noticed any real drain, other than when we are in the car and it doing the navigation and such.
Departure times are now on the main screen which I think makes a lot more sense.
Don’t get too excited
It shouldn’t scroll at all. Ford puts WAY too much info on the home page and it’s 75% useless. Quite annoying when fumbling with phone trying to tap a button on the move and the damn screen keeps moving. Completely unnecessary, bad design, @Ford Motor Company just don’t care.
The main page (the car icon) is jittery when scrolling, but charge and service pages are fine. Same iOS version on an iPhone 17 with iOS 26.5.
