This may have been mentioned before, but has anyone measured range loss alone from the increased height coming from the springs? Also, I presume these won’t fit model years prior to 2024?

I installed on '22 CR1 AWD. The range loss is so insignificant that I did not notice it. I expected about 5% loss, but it's even less - it applies to my NorCal-SoCal trips and regular commute. This may have been mentioned before, but has anyone measured range loss alone from the increased height coming from the springs? If you are going to use a cheap spring compressor, you've got to ask yourself one question..."Do you feel lucky?" Well, do you...Have the springs. Waiting for the bars (been delayed twice from the manufacturer). Also need to get a better spring compressor. Rolling the dice with a cheap compressor is a young person’s game.
Personally I would not do this if you only 20 months left. If you were to get another Mach-E at the end of your lease, I would do it on that one.I am picking up a remaing lease car on the 8th and REALLY want to do the springs and sway bars, but as there is only 20 months left on the lease not sure it makes sense. If I KNEW I was going to drive a lot, I would do it, but I may just wait until my next Mach-E. I was planning on buying out the lease car I am taking over....until he got rear ended in school pick up line, so definitely turning the car in after the lease is up.
Did you read my first post of this thread? 25 of the 32 members I listed that have done this mod all have Mach-E's that are between the years '21-'23. So yes, you can add these springs and bars to every year, ever model Mach-E that has been built so far. This may have been mentioned before, but has anyone measured range loss alone from the increased height coming from the springs? Since the bottom of the car is pretty smooth and it's already above the boundary layer, there should be very little increase in drag from raising the car less than an inch. It's not like when I helped lift a buddy's Blazer 5" (4" front suspension, 6" rear suspension, 1" tires) and he almost instantly lost at least 15% of his mileage due to larger tires and aero issues. Those things have a lot of junk hanging out underneath them and 5" of front lift is a lot aerodynamically. Conversely, I only went up 1/2" on tires and 2" in the rear so I lost almost nothing on my Blazer (even though I went wider 2" on section width and rim width). This may have been mentioned before, but has anyone measured range loss alone from the increased height coming from the springs?

The CV half shafts have the same part number front and rear on a GT (shortest height) as they to on the Rally (tallest height). I never looked at the Premium or any other model but I assume they would be the same.Mark, Question about half shafts and increased ride height. Does the Rally have the same part number half shafts as non Rally Mach e? I wondered if Ford made different half shafts because the joints were going to constantly run at higher angles vs the stock Mach e.
I just ordered a set of parts and plan to upgrade my Eibach springs with Rally springs.
For the Camber bolts in the front struts - put them in the upper or lower holes? I didn't need them when I changed my springs because I made front spacers to achieve the stock ride height. I remember reading some posts about using them, but can't remember which set of holes they went in (and haven't done a search yet).
Thanks!

I see Robert already answered your question which position I install the adjustable camber bolt.![]()
i know......I talked myself out of it. Waiting to see if I can score a nice 2024 or 2025 in the near future. That way I can have a mach e in IL and one at my Az home....lol.Personally I would not do this if you only 20 months left. I have been using those inexpensive two piece strut spring compressors for years. I don't see anything wrong with them for a small job like this.If you are going to use a cheap spring compressor, you've got to ask yourself one question..."Do you feel lucky?" Well, do you...
Spring compressors
(professional grade or Temu brand) all scare the beejesus out of me, almost as much as my garage door springs!
That's why I screwed myself into 245/45/20's. I bought them for the stock rims, then gave up on the stock rims and wiggled them onto 20x9's. Now 265/45/20's and I have the correct amount of meat. I can't speak to range loss but the GIM really flipped out for about 2 weeks, and I was going faster on the freeway as it was smoother so my normal ~70mph became ~75 as I gave up trying to keep to my speed and just started doing 15 under the traqffic flow.I'm looking to upgrade to 20 from 18 rims, just can't put all together especially with almost new tires and possible range reduction.
@markboris , thank you for installing springs and sway bars! I love how car changed.
