So many issues with Mach-E? A bit disappointed!

Ok... Let me try different allegory:

If my wife tells me, after 20 years of being together, that I am not the man she thought I was - that's totally understandable. But if she tells me the same the next day after our wedding - that would be quite more "interesting" - don't you think? ?
Well, as a Devil's Advocate for your wife, I would argue that she is wise to dump you sooner, based on your screen name. JK

But, seriously, as it stands my Mach-E is at an auto body shop now to repair the driver's door and front quarter panel/fender due to a misaligned door. I'm not pleased, happy or extremely understanding as to how the fault occurred but I am overall (so far) pleased with MY Mach-E. As I'm typing this, I'm smiling because it's easily becoming one of the best cars that I've owned. I feel that in this era, there are no perfect manufacturing processes and that I must be tolerable of some unknowns or missed defects being repaired, as they present. For me, it's not optimal or pleasing but a factor of doing business while purchasing a new vehicle, new home, a television, shoes, clothes or breakfast. Some things won't go as planned. As someone mentioned earlier assess your level of tolerance for the unknown or missed issues and decide accordingly.

Then I might just rethink the purchase. at least I can control that outcome.
If you will only be happy with a public statement from Ford within 3 days of anyone reporting a problem, I think youā€™re right to rethink your purchase because you wonā€™t be happy.

So what bothers me about this is not that you list all the problems. That's a good thing. But you fail to put those problems, repeatedly in multiple threads, into proper context of how many people each individual problem affects, which is a bad thing. We know there are 4-5 people the LVB seems to causing problems. What that extrapolates to statistically I couldn't tell you. BUt I doubt it reaches a critical number to be deemed a big problem. If hypothetically there are 5,000 MME on the road and say 10% are having one or more of these problems, then it's not that big a deal percentage wise. If it's say 50%, then yeah, you've got quite Q&D problems. Context matters.
The driver display noise issue appears to be prevalent on 100% of Mach-Es. Every single video people have posted of their driver display has that screeching buzz. It seems some people are not bothered by it or maybe are not able to hear that frequency, but it does seem like every Mach-E is doing it.

Would love to see a video of a driver display not emitting that noise, but I don't think anyone has been able to post such a thing yet.

No idea what this one is about. Doesn't exist on my Mach-e. Wife didn't say she's hearing a prevalent noise from anywhere. Will have to get my dog in there and see is she complains about it.

Ha-ha-ha !!! Only after your comment I decided to check the meaning of my nickname ? I didn't dig deeper before - just used the name of one of my favorite rock band - Supertramp. Yes, I am originally from non-English speaking country, but now I found that nickname has a deeper meaning - thank you for making me realize that ?

Here is the video from mine. A few other people have posted in this thread. If you wouldn't mind, could you please record a short video of your driver display, getting close up to it with your phone and posting it?

They are at least facing the prospect of some bad press and maybe loosing a few sales over this, whereas a few carefully placed words from them could go a long way. So far not much for them to get concerned over, but that can change quickly. I don't think that is that too much to expect at the very front of a new launch. Hope they don't follow Tesla's lack of info pattern. Anyway, all entitled to their own opinions on the matter. I really do hope I am over thinking this.

Lack of examples of non-existence do not constitute proof that a thing exists in all circumstances. Do you also believe all doors are misaligned because one person posted a misaligned door, and no one else posted a video of a door that opens without issues?

This post is going to get playfully selfish...

But I really hope Ford doesn't halt production again due to the 12v battery issue (that seems like the only serious, possibly production halting issue I've seen).

What I hope they do is change their delivery algorithm to prioritize warmer states. Well, actually just California from the weather reports I've been seeing across the country. Wait, no, there's too many orders in LA, so I think they should just prioritize the Bay. Hmm, probably a lot there too... So they really should focus on Future Ford Concord. Only the Route 1s. In carbonized gray. From people named Matt. There might be a couple of those and I don't have my VIN yet, so maybe I should specify the exact social security number of the buyer they should prioritize...?

Some people may have years of concert ear damage more than others as well... so they're like "what noise?!"

Just saying lol

I have this car and driven 600+ miles and don't have a buzzing issue. My main complaint is specifically with the phone as a key. It does not work well on Android 11 (samsung s20+). I have issues entering the car, or starting the car. I'm fairly certain the Android Auto issue is all related . Its really annoying yes. to say 100%, I don't think so, as mine is an example.

Fun story. Iā€™m at an outdoor summer party. Plop myself into a chair to enjoy my drink, but someone puts on some completely ridiculously bad music.

I look at the guy sitting next to me and say, ā€˜I dunno know about you, but if you love music as much as I do, youā€™ve got to do something about thisā€™.

Turns out it was one of the guys from Supertramp, and to this day Iā€™m one of the few post-band day acquaintances whose music opinion he respects.

Thank you. Could you please post a short video with your phone of the driver display while it is on?

I and others experiencing this issue would like nothing more than to be able to go to our dealers and say ā€˜see, itā€™s not normal, here is an example of a Mach-E with a driver display that is as quiet as the center displayā€™.

You would be helping us out a lot!

If you put your ear up to any display you will hear a whine. The issue is whether you hear it from a normal seated position. I don't understand the request. I guess I could take the video and then turn the volume down -- that would certainly demonstrate an absence of noise but not very helpful.

Expecting a statement within a few days of the first reported issues isnā€™t realistic.
+1.
