Picking ours up friday---kept going back and forth on the MACH E, a buddy who test drives for Ford tipped the scales. you'll love it, is it your first EV? If so I'm jealous.

Early adopter here and almost have had mine for a year, Feb 9th is the day....12,800 miles and love it!!
At first I had major issues, check: https://www.macheforum.com/site/thr...drained-dead-update-mach-e-jump-started.3457/

Every new piece of electronics has its kinks at the beginning....look at the history of x-box, playstation, i-phones, that other car manufacturer with a T...all had issues with first gen models. But what happens, they get worked out and fixed.
I would 110% recommend this vehicle and I would buy another one for my wife in the future!
Ford Customer Service has also been exemplary!!

Stick with it and bring that new Pony home to your stable. You wont regret it!

I ordered a Premium in 1/14/22 and I’m seeing so many negative posts. I’m I making a mistake in buying the Mach E.
I have had my MME since August 21 and it was so much better than I hoped. I am very unhappy with PAAK and they should just give us all another actual key fob. But given how much software is in this car (their first ever) I think it's great. Blogs are mostly for sharing complaints and issues. And supply issues have never been more of an issue, and not really Ford's fault.

Exceeds our expectation so much we just ordered another for my wife. 10 months in and 22k miles. It’s practically a used car now. Dozens of regional road trips (up to about 300-400 miles one way). Convinced us we don’t need any ICE. Second one is going to replace the phev. And we r saving $$$ in gas nowadays.

The roof glass does not need to be removed for the recall, and there is no recall for the brakes (just a TSB).
The brakes were the only issue for me on my FE. My GT does not have that issue, and I've learned to put it in neutral and ride the brakes a bit after washing it, so they have never "clunked" after sitting there wet.
I agree with others that this is the best car that I have ever owned!

If you like the idea of having an all electric car and have seen a Mach-E and liked it, then I would not say you are making a mistake. Like a lot of the others have said it is a small percentage that have a lot of problems with them and that can happen with any vehicle on the road today, especially the newer ones.

Now, with that in mind I will give a few pointers. First, once you have decided on the car I would get everything ready while you are waiting for your order. What I mean by this is as follows:

1) If you want to charge you car at home and want a 240V outlet in the garage for level 2 charging, reach out to electricians right after placing the order to have it installed.
2) Download the Ford Pass App AND set everything up before taking delivery of the car. You might also want to set up accounts with the other charge networks like ChargePoint and EV Go if you plan on ever using public chargers along the way because it takes them a few weeks to send you the cards you will need if you want to use them to access their chargers.
3) Keep reading the boards and reading the owners manual before delivery. I cannot tell you how much that helped me at the time of delivery.

Here is why I give the advise above. I placed my order at the beginning of December and thought oh boy do I have a lot of time before delivery. I have been keeping up with the forum and reading the manual but I was just starting to reach out to electricians and just downloaded the Ford Pass App and had set some items up but not realize that at delivery you should also set up the Ford Pass Charging section so that when you are at Electrify America stations they will not only recognize the car after plugging in but also use your Ford Pass account to charge you or use your free Ford kwh to charge the car.

Fast forward to yesterday where I happen to find the needle in the haystack. A dealer who had my exact build that came in the day before and the customer backed out. I was able to strike a deal with him for the car, but the dealer was 300 miles away. We drove down the 4+ hours down, picked up the car and drove the 4+ hours back yesterday. Of course with a 300 mile trip, we were stopping half way through to charge at Electrify America. We get to the station at 10 pm to find that only 2 of the 6 stations were working and one was being used by a Jaguar I-Pace. Due to the I-Pace right in-between the 2 working stations, I had to angle the MME in sideways so the charge cable would reach. Then once it was plugged in the station could not see use my Ford Pass account since I did not set up the charging side so it first asked for a credit card but then went to the error screen saying call Electrify America at the following number.

Now we are at 10:20 pm and it is just above freezing. The rep comes on the line, explains that the Ford Pass Charging section on my phone needs to be set up first and she would try to reboot the machine so the credit card reader might be able to work. Another 10 minutes later the station is up and running again and will take my card for the 20 minute charge I need to get back home. If I had set up the Ford Pass charging system on the app right after adding the car to my account at the dealership, this would have gone a lot better.

We get home just after midnight with 27% battery and now no 240V outlet in the garage. It is not a huge deal since we do have other cars to use, but now I can see from my phone that over the last 5 hours I have had it plugged into a 120V outlet, I have added 13 miles to the range bringing it up to 33% charge. Now that I have the charging account set up on the Ford Pass App I am sure the next time I plug into an Electrify America station it will go a lot faster and I will be able to use some of the free charging Ford has set up on my account.

I will say it was a fun adventure, and The car was amazing on the 4+ hour ride home using Blue Cruise most of the way. Unlike other cars I have driven with their form of Blue Cruise, the Ford does a nice job of keeping the car centered in the lane and not ping ponging you from side to side as it maneuvers around bends in the road.

3 months and no real problems with my GTPE. Only minor issue is Sirius station presets don't want to change sometimes. This won't be a problem now since my free trial is up and I am back to YouTube Music on android auto. Have had the notification a couple times that I left my headlights on even though they should have been on automatic(known issue). I am going to drill the holes soon for the 12v battery jumpstart just in case. GOM range sucks but expected since I only plug in once a week but remote start everyday.

The car has its issues in cold weather. Its the best car I've ever driven and I had so much fun in the summers doing 1200+ mile trips here in Canada. But the car dies when leaving unplugged for even 1 hour in cold and I hope they bring a solution for this soon!

We bought a GTP (my wife's grocery and grand Kids hauler) and it's the best car ever. 2000 miles and loving every mile. If you check out any forum complaints are the only source to get the word out to see if our supplier is fixing issues. Tesla has more complaints then most. If problem exist lemon laws in most state help the consumer especially here in PA. Good luck.

Got my Mach-e GT and driven for over a month. Most of my issues have been with the GPS that sometimes will not engage, or drop off the navigation midway. I am sure the software issues will bee worked out in future updates.
As for the driving experience, it’s a blast! No regrets here, love the car, the ride, the fit and finish and of course the looks.
The only negatives I encountered are a) the long wqit and b) the dealer trying to sting you with a “mark up” at the last hour before delivery. Apparently this is a common practice for most dealers but not all. Watch out for yours.
You’ll be happy w/the car.

What size tire? It makes a difference between 18" and higher. Also, tire pressure. Yet it's a mustang... and my '13 was nowhere smoother yet it has 19's and not 18's. (My CA RT1)
I have 19" tyres and they are inflated to around 41 psi.

Interestingly, I took a ride in a friend's Audi S3 over the weekend, and I have to say that on reflection, I prefer the ride in my MME!

Maybe I'm getting used to it, or maybe as I said before, I read so many negative posts about the ride quality, I was being over sensitive.

All I can say, is that thankfully in my case, the more I drive it, the more I am enjoying it!
