Coming up on 8k miles on my GT and it's the best all around vehicle I've owned. I wish PAK worked, but only so I can open the frunk with my phone, other than that no issues at all. Knock on wood

I’m glad a lot of people have had positive experiences with their MME. Unfortunately mine is a complete lemon and I am in the process of getting a complete refund.
I took delivery of my MME GT the day before thanksgiving. As the salesperson was going through the functions of the vehicle, we could not get the ford app to connect to my phone. We also could not get the maps to work to show me where all the charge stations were located or plan a trip. He says no big deal, the salesperson who is certified will be back on Monday. When I came back, that person still could not connect it. A service call was made and they needed to order parts. I was able to drive my MME for 2 weeks before parts came in. Well, it’s been 2 months now and I still have not gotten my car back. They initially gave me a Ford Ecosport, and only after complaining about not getting a loaner. After a month inservice, FoMo finally got involved and we were upgraded to a Edge. Today after 2 months and no end in sight I told them this is legally considered a lemon and we need to start the refund.
I still believe in Ford and I was in the 1st wave of ordering for the Lightning and I hope that experience turns out better.

Took delivery March 2nd, First Edition and while we would love the Blue Cruise we paid for to work and the driver's door hits the lower front fender each and every time we open it, we're very pleased. The door opening thing was noticed the first week we got it, but we thought it was the door opening shaft that was making the noise. We finally realized it wasn't and figured we'd get it addressed when something needed repair as often happens with first year products. None have developed so we'll have to make an appointment.
Paak works great for my android but not on wife's iPhone so she loves her Fob and would really love a second like other cars. Ford can you help?
Otherwise, this is one of the finest automobiles we've owned. We don't miss the Tesla but still Tesla fans. The MachE has been such a pleasure, we decided to replace our ICE 4x4 pickup with a BEV F150 Lightning. We ordered our the 3rd and only hope it comes with two Fobs.

I have had mine for 11 months, the car is great. The build quality is amazing.
The quirks and recalls are expected but are really not a big deal.
We were looking at Tesla originally and there is no comparing the two, the Mach E is well built and luxurious.

I ordered a Premium in 1/14/22 and I’m seeing so many negative posts. I’m I making a mistake in buying the Mach E.
I just want you to know, I ordered my Mach-e the first night they were advertised. I waited a little less than 16 months to get my car. I got it February 16, 2021 or so as I waited to drive down to pick it up because it had snowed and I did not want my car to get "dirty" the first darn day I had it.
Anyway, I can tell you that after almost one year, I love my car as much as I loved it when I first saw it at the dealership. Every time I open my garage door to go to work, I can hardly wait to get in my car to drive it.
I am 65 years old, have had a lot of cars during my lifetime and can honestly, without hesitation, say that this is the BEST car I have ever owned. It is the most fun to drive hands down.
I have not had any bugs that I know of and I love getting "bugged" at the stop lights when out of the corner of my eye, I see someone putting down his/her window wanting to ask me about my car. I happily comply!
So, in my humble opinion, you can't go wrong with this car!

The car has been awesome. Without flaw... no, but it's a first edition and did not expect absolute perfection. First and foremost, it's a CAR... not a cell phone on wheels. Almost 8K miles and have not been to the dealer once. I'll take it in for the 10K service and see how things go.

Oh c'mon ... stop instilling fear over a chip shortage. Unless you've been living under a rock and haven't driven past a car dealership in the last 2 years you should know that the chip shortage is not just for cars. Some of the advanced security equipment that we use at work has 2 year lead times right now.

If people are mad because they have to wait, well that's just life right now. Shutting down the economy and giving out handouts has consequences. What really gets me though is that people aren't proactive about finding a solution to their problem. If you don't want to wait, then search!

I've told my story on here a number of times, I had a GTPE on order, wanted to get it in 2021 and my order kept getting pushed out so I found one across the USA and shipped it to me. The OP has 401 brand new MME's within 200 miles of him (cited). If the dealer you ordered from has one ask them to sell you one on the lot for MSRP and then they can sell yours with ADM when it comes in.
Instilling fear!!!??? ?? I think it's more like "instilling skepticism". ??

Just so you know, I don't live under a rock or regularly drive by car dealers. I do admit to much unfamiliarity with Ford or ordering a car, but I've learned a lot from this forum and other Mach e news sources. I'm also not interested in pursuing your story for myself, although I did inquire about swapping orders between dealers (when I found online ads for 19 MME that weren't on the lot or available for sale.) I've also continually debated wait vs buy now, encountered unacceptable dealer markup, Ford's poor communication about allocations and orders, and their suspension of MME production for 1 week or is it 3 months? I've looked at alternatives, Ioniq 5 and EV6, not Tesla, VW, Volvo, GM, or any other BEV. Dealer markups are common and availability of ANY model is a problem.

Condescension doesn't serve you well, but thanks for your comment.

Day 63 of 196-day wait or is it 280-day wait? or whenever? At this tick of the clock, I choose to wait with a dealer that will honor the price guarantee, unless another better solution arises.

This is your second reply to the same comment I made. I guess the first one wasn't enough.

My point to you is that the chip shortage is a well know issue. Anyone who hasn't been living under a rock, which is a metaphor, knows that all MFGs and all Makes and Models of vehicles are delayed right now. It's not just a Ford, or MachE problem. Your comment was that the OP may never receive their car. That's a bunch of hyperbole and completely untrue.

Pauses in production happen all the time for various reasons. A lot of European MFGs will pause for extended holidays and pauses for drop in demand and supply (including chip) shortages are normal. Pauses also happen for retooling and design modifications. This is nothing new.

So yes, you are instilling fear in someone because of a well known and completely normal thing that happens in many industries. We should be thankful that the auto industry isn't nearly as far behind as some other industries. I have products that are over 15 months out because of chip shortages:

The second part of my comment was that if you really want a car now, there's a ton of them out there. There's no shortage of MMEs on lots. So if you don't want to wait, be proactive and go find one.

So, Dev, what? If I'm "instilling fear", maybe you are a "pollyana" about the "true" meaning of this Ford Cuautitlan "suspension". Both would seem hyperbolic. Aren't you just repeating your opinion in order to have the last word? Anyway, why argue and criticize on this forum?

You're happy about the situation. Me, not so much, but I am sticking with it for the time being.

After two months of ownership I love my MME GT. It took a while to get comfortable with the use of the screen features, but getting the hung of it.
Fun to drive. Gotten used to the firmer suspension because this is to have a “Sports Ride”, yet it’s comfortable enough, in town or on the road. Negotiating curbs in mountain roads is a blast.
Ongoing issues: haven’t figured out: how to have PAAK to work, opening or closing the trunk by waving the food under the bumper not always work, it takes 10 to 15 tries to close the charging port door.
I parked fine all my driving life, thus an extra $1,900 for self parking is way too much. I know that that includes hands free line centering as well, but Ford should have included these features as standard in all its MME lineup to make it yet more competitive.
Still, all in all a great car!

Over 1500 miles on my GT. Small software related quirks worked themselves out over time.
Sliding the foot under the car to open the trunk works 70% of the time, to close works 20% of the time now. Have to press the button at the bottom of the door to get it to close.
Closing the charging port lid takes me between 4 and up to 10+ tries.
In all, a great driving experience and a superior quality, fit and finish that overcompensate for the minor quirks. Have no regrets and you won’t have them either.
