So today the Ford app decided to stop working and just says "Failed To Update" whenever I try to refresh. It is showing an outdated charge level and says "Plug in to charge" even though it has been plugged in for hours. I have a trip tomorrow, so i wanted to charge to 100%. It seems there's supposed to be a way to set the target charge from the center screen, so i opened the "Charging" app and it has the battery 'meter' with a white line at 90%, I tried 'sliding it' but it wont move. I also tried turning off Locations but still no help. Is there no way to adjust the charge limit for a single session in the car? It looks like I can turn locations on, and change the target there, but I also have to set a schedule, which I don't care to do. Google search just says to use the app, but since it isn't working, goes on to say to start pulling fuses.

I did notice that the clock in the car was wrong, so i corrected it but that didn't help. (Likely unrelated) after setting the clock, I turned the car off and stated to get out, then the A/C started running with the car off? Screens were blank except the red "Brake" at the bottom of the IC, A/C was blowing full blast cold inside the car and I could hear the compressor & fans running outside. I unplugged the car and it stopped doing that, until i plugged it back in, then the A/C started going again. I turned the car on, turned off the climate controls and turned the car off again, now the A/C stayed off with the car off. What's this all about? No departure times should be set or anything like that.

Ok, now that sets it permanently, correct? That's not a 1 time charge? Is the 1 time charge limit only available in the app?

The Lightning allows you to do a one-time in the vehicle, but my 2022 Mach-E doesn't as I recall.

I had the same problem so I did a system reset on the car. Opened the fuse panel in the passenger footwell. Unplug the master power connector. Waited fifteen seconds and plugged back in. That was over a year ago and have never had a charging level sync with the app since.

sorry, do you mean “I’ve never had an issue since” or do you actually mean “the app is permanently broken now” ?

I meant the issue never resurfaced and the app has stayed in sync with charging levels perfectly ever since.

I'll have to keep this in mind, The app started working again this morning, but not in enough time to get a 100% charge before I had to leave for my trip. I had to disembark with a nail biting 99% \S.
