Is there a way to know if the software has been updated at the dealership?
Yes. It will be recorded in the OASIS report. Anyone at the dealership with access to that system can look it up. I can't remember.......do I have your VIN already? You can private message me and I'll check for you.

I don’t think so because it doesn’t produce AC current.
Yes, but I think @TheVirtualTim is looking at the same thing I see in the service manual and it sure reads like the EVSE can charge the LVB without also charging the HVB. I haven't been able to verify but sure sounds interesting......

Do you know how the update would show up in OASIS? I saw someone messing with my car (technically not my car yet) the other day applying some type of update but not sure what it was

So, does that require using the ford pass app? I was going to ignore it for a while since it is so problematic, and just use the fob. I have a a ChargePoint charger and was going to use it's app. That is not such a good idea?
Play around with both and see which one you like.

I believe it can. But that still wouldn’t need an inverter because it’s not producing AC. I think a converter can go AC to DC or DC to DC, but an inverter goes DC to AC, right?

That is correct: An inverter is DC->AC.

I don't think this makes sense. My off-peak hours are 19 hours a day. I think worst case is 10-12 hours a day. If the car can't go 12 hours without being plugged in, then the design is total crap. I've no plans to go on long trips, but those that do, will have their not charging for far longer than that. Also if the car is not plugged, the 12V battery should be maintained by the HVB, so should not be causing a problem. Finally, I would prefer that the car not try to update it's software without at least telling me. Connectivity in a garage may be iffy, so i'd prefer that it try to download updates under open skies.
My car spent its' first 3 1/2 days off a charger of any type, ambient temperature range 35-46 degrees. I used 67% of the HVB and countless hours on the LVB just getting acquainted, configuring devices, playing with settings, having the car "greet me", listen to music, etc. No sign of any battery issues at all (as expected).

I'm not sure why exactly. I never took a pic of the message and my wife has it out right now

When the ambient temperature is 32°F/0°C or colder, leave your vehicle plugged into a Level 2 charger to allow the battery to warm up. ... If your vehicle must be left unplugged in cold temperatures for extended periods of time, make sure it is charged to the highest state possible.

Or... Let Ford fix the 12v issue, and use the car w/o thinking about the LVB. If they fail to fix it and the LVB dies on a regular basis when using the car like its intended, then its bad design and you can either alter your charging behavior, or get a different care.

I don't have off-peak power but if I did, I would schedule it to charge off-peak only. I feel like we all want to be nerdy and technical with the car and try to game it. But the fact is, no where does it say plug the car in whenever its not actively being used.
Go ahead. Ignore the rational suggestion to use the car settings to control charging not the EVSE settings when you have it plugged in for charging at off peak rates

You be you.

BTW I have seen video where the MME does alert/warn you to plug in while parked due to the low ambient temperature. Guess it was the nerd in me that has me watching what I can find to inform my experience with the MME.

Here in Arizona, getting this message would literally require hell to freeze over.
