Plug and Charge took me 4 different EA chargers at the one location I have tried so far. Once it worked it was perfect though. Just had to show around a bit. You might try a couple different ones.

Ford Pass was a disaster for me. After talking to EA they advised me to turn it off on the plug and charge. What was fascinating about doing that is sometimes the charging was still being picked up automatically by ford However using my own money made it far faster and easier. The 250 ford gives you is not that much. It equates to about $35 dollars. The frustration and time screwing with was far more. I estimate I lost around 90 minutes of the trip dealing with Ford Pass. EA told me to turn it off. Once I did charging was easy and faster.

My recommendation is to sign up for your own EA Pass+ account. It's $4 per month but your price drops from the standard rate (41¢ per kWh, 32¢ per minute) to the member rate of 32¢ per kWh or 24¢ per minute.

Good news! First successful Plug & Charge. I had to turn it on again in the app and it is working fine.

Very cool, looking forward to some free charging on the first road trip. Will be really cool if I get the extra free 250 charging (+ potential $1k off, is it real?) for being in this extended delay... sadly no email yet.

Have fun in Florida.

I'll get more details up and edit my videos. However, I see a curve consistent with what Bjorn got:
https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/mme-charging-curve-data-collection.1617/post-113656
IIRC:
150kW for 2-4 minutes
100-110kW until 40-60% SOC
about 80kW to 80% SOC
Immediate drop to ~15kW at 80% SOC

So the 150 is useful in a Zap-and-Dash (the 60 miles in 10 minute charges). It's not that important for a charge to 80%.
Great info on the quick charge. Thats all I need to get to our Vacation place in the mountains. Coming back is a drop of 6000’ so no need to charge.

Here’s the set up. Choose FordPass charging network
Ford Mustang Mach-E My Travels With Marlin (GB FE) 43897639-5CF3-47F2-9258-578561999D68

Then select Plug & Charge
Ford Mustang Mach-E My Travels With Marlin (GB FE) FC323254-B62A-4CC9-A83A-4C6DCB024128

Turn on Plug & Charge
Ford Mustang Mach-E My Travels With Marlin (GB FE) 35C7ED05-880A-44C1-AC80-ED8DBAC18C14

Funny thing is, as you can see here I had turned P&C on Friday evening after picking Marlin back up. Hopefully it will hold this time.

That is EXACTLY what I did.

California 0.31
Arizona 0.31
New Mexico 0.31
Texas is 0.24 and is an oil state. Go figure

I had issues with EA today. It would only come up for the pay or member options at three different machines. I ended up calling EA and they finally gave me a comp to charge. If you have difficulties I would try to exercise that option to be compensated for the inconvenience. Luckily I had nothing else to do today. They should really give us more kWh than 250 to test their equipment out.

That‘s because it’s $0.24 per minute in Texas. The $0.31 price in the other states listed is per kWh.
Thanks. I had no idea. All I know is that it cost me about $80 to drive the 1600 miles to Houston.

Glad to hear this. Exactly what I’m planning to do... if I ever get it delivered. Def wait til it’s ready for prime time.
