The fake Tesla attacks are silly.

Maybe you aren't aware, but the only roof I'm aware of that has flown off a Tesla had been replaced by a third party. In other words, it wasn't even Tesla's fault.

He said he was kidding, and no need to go after him. ?

Im not going to be bullied by the person calling other people racists. It was unwarranted and I’m going to call that out. You are wrong. Simply wrong. It isn’t racist to ask whether Ford abides by the same safety standards in a foreign country as they do in the United States. Different countries have different laws and labor requirements. That question isn’t racist. You say that Ford does apply the same standards, and that is fantastic.

I know you are highly popular on this forum because you are a Ford insider, and I very much appreciate the Insight you can offer. We all do. But don’t muck up this forum accusing people of racism. It’s low.

Yup! Picked up their brand new Tesla at the factory in Fremont. How cool is that? Hopped on I-580 to head home, and instant convertible Tesla!
You can believe an uncollaborated Reddit account without any other supporting evidence in which the "journalist" couldn't even get ahold of the poster to confirm the claim. I tend to think it's just a Tesla troll post.

IMO, it's not even "journalism" to echo unverified Internet claims. Journalistic integrity is now a foreign concept.

The lady standing on top of the Tesla making a scene was doxed:

It turns out she owns a company that is a supplier to a Chinese BEV manufacturer whose sales are threatened by Tesla. She was at the car show with an auto industry pass. Such a drama queen. There is nothing defective with Tesla brakes - she crashed because she was going 50% over the speed limit and didn't apply the brake hard enough, soon enough. Tesla has the data logs of the accident.

You do realize most of the Mustang Mach E’s are being made for the European market, not the North American market, don’t you?
I don't get it. Are you saying that's why Ford makes them in Mexico? Because Ford's european customers would rather have a car made in Mexico than the USA?

What is your point?

According to Tesla she was travelling at 75mph. Her brakes worked okay and she crashed. Perhaps this is why Tesla won't submit to crash tests?

Why the Mustang Mach E is better than the Tesla Model Y
Well, today looks like a good day to introduce some facts to back up that quote above.

Because the MME is being sold to make a profit, while Tesla has never sold their vehicles at a profit. So they are selling vehicles at a loss, in order to make money on carbon credits.

Their latest earnings report from yesterday proves that point.

Tesla makes their profit from selling regulatory credits and trading in questionable investments. Don't believe that ? Proof below, in Bold. Enjoy.

Tesla Makes More Money Trading Bitcoin Than Selling Cars

Bitcoin trading and regulatory credits, not auto sales, helped power Tesla to a record profit

After just months under the same roof, bitcoin and Tesla are becoming the best of friends.

That is one takeaway from the car company’s first-quarter results out on Monday. Revenue of $10.4 billion and adjusted earnings of 93 cents a share both topped Wall Street expectations. Net income reached $438 million, a quarterly record for the company. What’s more, Tesla said it expects to increase vehicle deliveries by more than 50% this year from the 2020 total. That implies roughly 800,000 deliveries this year.

Tesla didn’t exactly earn its record profit from selling cars, however. The company said that it sold some of the $1.5 billion worth of bitcoin that it purchased in February, contributing $101 million to the bottom line. That is nearly a fourth of its total profit.

What is more, sales of regulatory credits to other auto makers to help them meet emissions mandates, which carry a 100% profit margin, reached $518 million. That accounts for nearly 100% of Tesla’s $533 million in pretax income. Those two helping hands helped avert red ink.

Shares traded slightly lower in after-hours trading on Monday, and the air has come ever so slightly out of Tesla’s stratospheric stock price. Shares are down about 16% from the peak in early January, but Tesla’s market value still tops $700 billion, or more than five times the combined value of Ford and General Motors. Ford sold more than half a million cars in the first quarter in the U.S., more than double Tesla’s world-wide total. If Tesla extended its first-quarter results for the next three quarters, the stock would trade at about 200 times this year’s adjusted earnings.

Tesla’s electric-car market share has eroded in established markets like Western Europe and the U.S. as larger car companies like Volkswagen, Ford, and General Motors have finally gotten serious about the electric market. Tesla has lately been setting sales records in China, but homegrown competitors are emerging there, too.

Regulators in China and in the U.S. have recently scrutinized the company over issues like the safety of its driver-assistance software, which Tesla calls Full Self-Driving Capability.

Sales of tesla in North America are way down. Next year with so many new BEVs, it's going to even get tighter.

A lot of people purchased a Tesla as it was really the only bev on the market. Now that has changed and loyal brand buyers will be going back. How many time will tell?

Will the world ever get an apple car? time will tell.
