I/m curious to see how people's feelings have changed over the last 7 months regarding their original choice, and how they feel about pulling the trigger on the Mach E. You can change your answer anytime

If I do convert to an order, I will change from infinite blue to rapid red. With all that is going on the last few months, I may just cancel and wait to see what happens. While I am still working (from home), I can't be totally confident that won't change. My PHEV is good enough, and is paid for. I would really like to buy the Mach E, but I'm not sure it is worth the money at this point.

I'm only changing color to Grabber Blue because it wasn't available when I made my reservation -- it was added later.
Also my reservation still lists mine as carbonized gray, which shortly after dropped off from the GT options... so I don't know what color my reservation really is.

Color modification, gray change ...
I would have liked the new orange, but not in the catalog except GT and my dear and tender does not seem fan. Now the delays for Europe are so long that this fabulous orange can be integrated into the whole range and that the dilemma will arise ....

I reserved a Premium 4X. I've got two plans for when the online order bank opens. I'm doing the AWD extended range battery no matter what.

1. Switch to Infinite Blue and the Space Grey interior.
2. Because of my very early time stamp (night of the reveal), IF First Editions become available, switch to Rapid Red FE.

I definitely plan to convert my reservation. I am on the fence about changing from Rapid Red to Grabber Blue. I will make a decision once i see it in person.

I currently have a Rapid Red California Rt 1 edition reserved, but I'm seriously learning towards upgrading to the Premium extended range trim. Still on the fence about RWD or AWD. I live in central NC and don't really get bad weather. On the other hand it'd be a nice to have and I wouldn't mind the extra performance.

Maybe you can grab my very early time stamped (night of reveal) First Edition. I'm almost certainly switching to a Performance Package Dark Matter Gray GT from my reserved Carbonized Gray FE. That would put it in line to arrive in late summer which would coincide with my big 5-0 birthday that September. I think that it will be a pretty cool gift and would make sense since my 50 Years Edition GT convertible was justified as my mid-life crisis purchase five and a half years ago. My oldest daughter should be leaving for her freshman year at college then as well, another reason to celebrate. ;)

Now that I have my wife's unexpected I-Pace in the driveway to tide me over until then, I can wait. The pure electric power/torque in the Jag is addictive and after driving it a few times I'll happily wait longer and give up the 20 miles of range the FE has over the GT.

As Ricky Bobby says, "I WANNA GO FAST!" :D

I think this is a tough question to answer. I currently have a GT reservation, but could be tempted to switch to a FE (if one came available). I have some questions but not sure if they will all have answers by the time we have to make that decision:

- What kind of impact will the ~5% performance bump have on real world performance (will we see increased 0-60 on not-GT models)?

- Will there be an increase in driving range for any models?

- What’s the additional cost for any GT add-on’s to give it the same options as the FE/Premium?

- I have heard the glass roof is heavier than a standard roof? Will a glass roof have any impact on the GT’s performance?

Basically, I’d want to find that sweet spot in terms of performance/cost/efficiency (range). I know it’s different for everyone. I know the GT will be the quickest model. However if the FE comes out with a new 0-60 of 5s or lower, the FE gets a range bump, we find out the GT with the glass roof might actually be low 4s due to extra weight, and it’s an extra $5k to add the glass roof, camera, etc that come standard on a FE....I’d def be tempted to switch.

Something else that impacts my decision is what the future looks like for me. I’m in a corporate position and currently working from home. There are rumors that our corporate hub may decrease the number of people onsite for the long term and shift more individuals towards permanent remote work. If I end up working from home full-time, the amount I drive would drop dramatically (I was driving 18k miles a year and would probably end up driving less than 5k a year, working from home). At that point, I’m not sure if it would be worth it to me to drive a ~$55k (after incentives and taxes) Automobile.

I had reserved a Premium RWD, but I'm seriously considering switching to the AWD. It seems like every other EV coming to market is AWD, and I'm worried about there being some features being lost if I don't (e.g., if Ford makes adjustments to tuning similar to Nissan's e-4orce that require AWD). I also figure that, when I'm taking a long trip, that's when AWD would be useful anyway.

That being said, I also want to see the final specs before I convert, and I want to make sure I can test drive before I have to commit this much money for good. I don't mind putting down a bigger deposit now, but it has to be refundable if I don't like the car after a test drive.

I have a reservation for a Premium SR AWD Infinite Blue which is plan A, and plan B would be to order a Select SR AWD Infinite Blue with all the options and that decision is tied to 2 things. The first one is the cost of financing/leasing which we don't have a clue at the moment, but the dealer rep told me that we will have the info when making the order and the second is (in a less important manner) the federal incentive program which at the moment the MME is excluded.
The reason I went for the Premium at first is because the dealer didn't have the info about the heated seats and steering wheels option info which I did find yesterday. So the Select with all the options possible include 19" wheels also and all the tech goodies execept the Park Assist 2.0 and the Panoramic Roof, giving space to add PPF on the hood and front bumper and ceramic coating.

The glass roof is gonna be great, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. It'll certainly be heavier and there are performance costs to the weight and maybe not everyone likes the sun overhead but there's a reason why so many premium vehicles are moving towards them.

I have a hunch that the GT version is going to be something special. Dave Pericak is in charge of the program and hearing him talk about the Mustang Mach-E, what the FE/Premium is capable of, and then hear the barely contained excitement he has about the GT version makes me believe that it is next level.

Insofar as reduction in driving mileage, don't sweat it. Everybody I have talked to that has an EV says they end up driving more than they used to because it's both fun and there's no extra cost to it in terms of gas, wear & tear, and time. You constantly hear people say that they look for excuses to drive their EV. That is going to be you.
