In the tear down photos, do I see a rear pedestrian speaker that people have been saying is missing on their cars in other threads?
I don‘t think anyone said it was missing. It just doesn’t seem to do anything.

Interesting tho. Mfgs don’t typically include non-functional components unless they think they might be necessary (or necessary later?) Otherwise it’s just useless additional cost and weight. For that speaker Ford probably could have given us backseat led ambiance lighting instead.

Maybe they put it there so they could fire it up later via OTA to mess with people that disabled the one in the front.

When you listed the ~$5k number I thought that sounded like what I'd expect. When you got to $11k I was ... surprised.

...
I was surprised as well. One of the things that jumped out at me was around $900 each for the tail light assemblies. Does anyone know if that price is normal for a modern car? I haven't had to buy a new taillight assembly since the 1970's - I think for about $35.

Headlight assemblies are over $1600.

Did you have PPF or Ceramic Coating on the backend before the Hit-n-Run?

I had our entire FE PPF'd and Ceramic'd the week we took delivery. I'm curious to see how USAA will respond & if they will cover putting it back to pre-accident standard.

I didn't. Just the week before the crash we were contacting PPF places and had decided on which company to use.

Most insurance companies won't cover repairing such customization when it is covered by your own company. However, if it is the other driver's liability, you might be able to get it covered.
