At least they caught that before refilling and sending you on you’re way none the wiser.Another setback - Just received this from the Dealer yesterday:
We are down to recharging the A/C system and ran into a small snag. There is a special additive that needs to be added to the system. Unfortunately, that additive will take about a week to get. Once the additive is received, the tech will need a couple hours to get it all charged up and then we can do our final assembly of shields etc. Then it will need to be cleaned up and off to service for them to complete your requested items.
Them and everyone else sadly. Did you see the news on the shutdowns of virtually every GM plant? The shop has been great. Weekly updates and great communication. The problem is the Ford Motor Company supply chain.
I just read through this whole entire thread and damn... that took a hot minute... I guess it's kinda to be expected with the state of the world and the Mach-E being pretty new still. Thanks for documenting the experience so that way we kinda have a bit of a benchmark to compare to should we never find ourselves in a similar nightmare case scenarioAfter 19 weeks she is finally back home!

Unfortunately I will be going through the process as well. I was rear ended while stopped in traffic in the DFW area.
