The problem with forward mounted machine guns is that they leave too much debris for you to run into. You need phasers on full power to disintegrate the schmo in front of you.
It's a Mustang, though. If we're after pedestrians, the game naturally should have us simply steering a virtual car directly into crowds at a Cars n' Coffee. Nevermind the machine gun. Living up to the legendary name!
This time they won't hear us coming.

Will I be able to use PowerUp and completely disable/disconnect all of the Amazon/Alex integration? I don’t want to share any information with Amazon and I don’t want to use any Amazon-related services.
I hope so, Jeff Besos stay the hell away from my car. You have already done enough damage. I will try to avoid Amazon as much as I can.

1,600 words to announce the name of their OTA system and tease some future features. The corporate speak is strong. Wake me up when OTA updates that have anything other than bug-fixes actually ship.

I am not sure how I feel about the privacy aspects of this, hopefully there are some toggles.

That said some impatient people on here were already throwing Ford under the bus claiming they gave up on OTA updates after like one month of ownership. With this release it's obvious Ford is completely focused on OTA updates and Mach-E owners will see plenty of them.

I for one do NOT want my car updated every week and am glad Ford is slow rolling this out. My Mach-E has some quirks I hope Ford fixes via OTA but overall it's very reliable and the last thing I want is to deal with OTAs that "brick" my vehicle. I'd be happy with an OTA once per quarter, but I am sure there are some people reading this who wishes their Mach-E was updated several times per week.
I heard something on a podcast about some privacy toggles existing but I have not found them.

Not true Nissan has Siri integration.
They don't have Siri built in. You still have to have an iPhone connected in the car. They just have a certain level of CarPlay that has Siri always listening. The Mach E has "Siri Integration" too if you have an iPhone connected, just hold the voice button on the steering wheel

This new thing Ford announced is Alexa running in the car itself. No need for an extra device

I essentially said I don’t like being “monetized”. I do what I can to avoid it. It’s doubtful that I’ll ever give law enforcement cause to ask for my electronics and, if I want to be really paranoid when going overseas, I have no problems doing a factory reset before leaving the US, using iCloud while out of the country for my very boring activities (email, web browsing, and tourist pictures), then another factory reset before return). They’re welcome to the password to my Twitter account with one post, and my LinkedIn account, so that takes care of social media.
Unfortunately, law enforcement doesn't care about cause in a lot of cases.

But I agree with your sentiment about being monetized by corporations.

Oh, I know law enforcement doesn’t always care about cause. Perhaps I should say it’s doubtful I’d ever appear on their radar.

Now you know why we have front cameras

Regarding Alexa, right now I can do all these same things through Google assistant because my phone automatically connects to Android Auto....a long press on the steering wheel voice button engages Google assistant already and this has been very functional for me. If anything I'm worried that adding Alexa will break the existing functionality or overtake the function of the steering wheel button. Hoping it doesn't cause any conflicts or I can at least then it all off. We dont use any Alexa products or services so this really isn't helpful. I'm happy if it's useful to others but they better damn well make it easy to disable!

So when is this update coming exactly because in the video they said "right now". Plus they said it's already rolled out to many people, yet no one on this forum has it.

Honestly, nothing.
quick note taking if it allows you to do it while driving. If not, I agree not very exciting compared to what could be developed like "sentry" mode.

Siri sucks compared to Alexa and Google. Siri rarely answers my questions. Sure it can facetime or text for me but ask it any useful question and it gives you search responses.
