That's your job, not his. They're out there. Numerous people have provided you with names. Use Google. Cripes, use Bing, or even (gasp!) Yahoo.

There is an abundance of EA chargers on the various routes from NorCal to the Southland. You'll also avoid the massive backups waiting for a spot to open at the Supercharger stations at Harris Ranch and the Madonna Inn.

Trolls do that. They have the ability to take on the form of a forum member through the use of potions. Does anyone have a level 8 fire or acid spell handy?

Nope. White's been standard for literally ages. Want it in a color other than white? That'll be an extra $1000 dollars. What? You want red? $2000 more.

Ford, incidentally, has 6 colors available on the non-GT models. Four of those colors have no upcharge. What? You want it in Red? That'll be an extra $400. What? You want it in Star White? $600 more.

nope - If somebody makes a claim its up to them to back it up not tell someone to go fish.
Names dont point to direct material, but I look them up anyway.

I never claimed there weren't enough EA chargers on that route. The massive backup thing happens with all chargers on certain holidays in certain places. 2 networks is better than one full stop.

Trolls attack posters vs the content, and try to put words in peoples mouths. They cause threads to go long.

Got it , they changed from back to white, I acquiesced to that a few posts ago. They started giving black away first.

Great Id probably pay 600 for the white like all my other cars/trucks are for reasons Ive already explained that have nothing to do with price.

I actually read through this entire thread. I must be a sociopath.

But to the OP, @Davegvg , you seem to be experienced in the workings of a typical car forum. To that end, I am surprised you haven't also realized that there's such a thing as confirmation bias and selection bias, both of which have always been heavily and persistently present on internet car forums since the early days of the internet.

What I'm getting at here is that --
1. You're forgetting that the vast majority of people who have no problems at all, aren't posting about their (boring) lack of problems, and the ones that do, don't get much attention.
2. When you're subconsciously looking for there to be a problem (such as with the Mach-E), you'll select and absorb information that supports that hypothesis.

Like some others in this thread, I, too, have a Mach-E, and I've had absolutely zero issues with it since I got it in March. It's far and away the best car I've ever owned.
1. People are silent about all makes and models with no problems.
2 There are problems and there are differences the two aren't the same.

I consciously look at both

Super glad you got a good one. I'll be watching to see how it all unfolds over time.

like said earlier that no one acknowledged I want to see Ford do well.

I was hoping for some good discussion and links to more compelling metrics like Bjorn Nylands reviews.
Hey OP, get the car that best fits your needs, budget, driving style, and personal tastes. The Model Y definitely charges faster but i don't think it's a deal breaker. Ryan from the Kilowatts YouTube channel just did a 1000 mile return drive from the Bay Area to Vegas with a Model Y and Mach-E 4X and concluded that the MME was between 60-90 minutes behind.

Space white is free.

that is about right. We did the trip from Louisville to Memphis and back with the mache and model y 800 miles. The model y did it 57 minutes faster or say 1 hour. But model y has only 7% battery left while the mache had 15% left. So take away a little bit of the charging and it's about 50 minutes faster in 800 miles. I'm not gonna stress over 50 minutes on an 800-mile trip.

Also if ford can just cut down the charging time by 5 minutes less to 80%. then you're talking only 20 minutes fast and that is chump change. Give ford time it will be fixed.

Keep your ICE trucks, don’t buy from the company the ripped off your son, and wait for this to be fully baked . Then go and troll the ID4 forums.

Perhaps for someone who does it once or twice a year it is.

Ive done it several times a month for 10 years now.
Got it, you need a blue motion diesel then ?, save lot more time and money paid for a Tesla.

But yes, it'll not be long before the times and speeds Match. Try to go only to EA chargers and you'll meet how fast the Tesla charges without waiting to get a spot at the chargers.

Will EA be able to service every car vendor outside of tesla in 3-5 years?

Seems unlikely at the current rate of growth.
That's why you have EA, Blink, Chargepoint, EVGo and local utility based stations and what not. Non Tesla charges growth is much higher than Tesla chargers growth. You save more time in service and repairs that you loose in charging.
