My only serious complaint with driving this excellent vehicle is when I'm inching into my garage at the end of entry. It is hard to control the speed and distance at the end of entry when I could hit the wall. I've tried with and wo one pedal mode. Any suggestions, anyone with the same problem?? I usually stop less than a foot from the wall then inch into the indicators where I would like to end up leaving some space between the bumper and the wall .... and taking no chance that the back bumper does not clear the garage door when it closes.

I haven't gotten this down either. As I'm pulling in the garage, and let one pedal bring the car to a stop, it usually stops earlier than I want. Then If I tap the accelerator, it moves forward, but doesn't come to a stop as quick as before and I have to end up using the brake pedal to get it to stop where I want.

It just feels like One Pedal doesn't really apply stopping force the same every time.

Don't "Tap" the accelerator. Apply extremely light pressure to the accelerator and the car will creep forward. Practice this when you are not up against a wall. You need to teach your ankle muscles to do this because you never did it in an ICE car. If you are moving slowly enough regen braking will not come into play. The car will apply the friction brakes.

I put in a parking stop on the floor for each of my vehicles so they all get parked exactly where I want them. (At least depth wise - the wife is not great at the left/right part some days... LOL)

That is what I meant by saying tapping it. Applying JUST enough pressure for it to start to inch forward. In this scenario, it will roll farther than expected before the brakes latch on.

Are you using one pedal? I have never had the problem but do have a Speed bump just the same so I have a nice aim point and stop.

I've been using one pedal since 2014. It took a long time to build muscle memory in my right ankle.

Maybe they will eventually enable a “creep” mode, like the tesla does?

I don't have my car yet but whisper mode should have the least aggressive accelerator pedal map and least regen making it easier to make fine speed controls. I would also try turning off autohold to let the car roll more naturally.

Only suggestion I can think of might be to disable Auto Hold (if you haven't tried that already)
I am not having any issues like you describe. Am able to navigate in tight quarters with very fine control of the vehicle. Auto Hold was the very first thing I turned off when I took delivery of my vehicle though.

We have that. Car ended up about a foot before it because Auto Hold or Regenerative Breaks gave feedback that felt like we were there... This will take some practice.

I’ve only had mine 3 weeks but I really do look like a permit driver when I attempt to inch up into a parking space/my driveway ? I’ll get there!

I have the same issue. I took one pedal drive off And that helps a lot. I know unbridled has the most aggressive stopping so I assume changing to whisper might make it easier to inch in, haven’t tried that yet.

You should have seen me trying to pull up hill into a DCFC spot while making a right turn. Awkward location, but I looked like a damn fool. Wife looked at me and said,, "what the hell are you doing?"
